[QUOTE="Acurev"]I also have GT, though it works perfectly fine... :) Anyway. Some benchmarks Ive seen the GT actually over take the GTX. Especially so when overclocked so getting a GTX or Ultra isnt work it. If your going to shell out for one of those you might as well get a 9800GTX. As for the GT vs GTS G92, thats a very good question. Im confused by this. My GT also has the G92 core and 512mb of ram so whats the difference? Im pretty sure they each have 112 Shader Processors also. I could be wrong about the. If I were you Id stick with the GT.
As for what brand my last card (GTS 320) was an Evga and I was highly satisfied. My new GT is an XFX Alpha Dog Edition and I am truly satisfied with the overclockability, performance, and most importantly the price. As always check Newegg.com!
Good Luck!

I'm thinking that my GT is overheating, even when I turn the fax >80%. I get the purple screen and it sits there. Might as well dish out the $40 and get the heatsink for it.
Overall I've heard mixed arguments about the 8800GT. I was very pleased with mine before it started glitching. I know it all comes down to numbers (check NVIDIA's site for comaprisons) and ther person's/site's bias, but there's gotta be a way to tell these apart.
hm, that does sound like overheating. Get a Zalman and if it doesnt help it then you could just put it on a new card! I cant recall off the top of my head the prices but Im pretty sure the GTS costs more. hmm.
