6h05tly's "Ask Anything" Answers v1

Here are my answers for my "Ask Anything v1" Blog:

c_rake: What's your favorite console?

Answer: Without a doubt, the Nintendo 64

Gamah_Killah 1st Q: Are you copying my blog idea?

Answer: Somewhat, but it was one of Platyphyllum's blogs that inspired me to create this.

Gamah_Killah's 2nd Q: Who's your all time fav musical artist?

Answer: AC/DC

Bakalou: In which MST3K episode did they lose the original host (Joel)? Hint: it was a crappy Joe Don Baker action flick.

Answer: What is MST3K?

Spookspouse: Ever heard of Existential Blue?

Answer: Nope, but I'm kinda interested in it.

Pigfish2: Do you like transformers and if so who is your favorite transformer?

Answer: I didn't like the 80's cartoon but I did like the anime version, and I never got the chance to watch the movie yet, so to answer your question, yes. And to answer your 2nd question, I would have to say the yellow car from the Ottobots would have to be my fav transformer, since I don't know all of the Ottobots and Decepitcons on top of my head.

Thanks to those who gave me such questions. If ya like, I will create more Question blogs at least once a month.

See Ya!

A Lot Happenin': iNet, Epilepsy, and Finally Able to Game Online!!!!!

First off, my uncle just got his internet kit to install on his laptop online. He did this because he has some business regarding his work (he really likes to work, verrrry long). So I'll be trying to hook up and install his internet kit sometime today.

In other news...

Yesterday asI was reading pigfish2's blog, I had a seizure. I started to studder while reading his blog, my arms and jaw were stiff, and then collaped until 3 minutes later I came out of my consiousness and was sent to the hospital after. This was like my 4th seizure in my lifetime: 1st in 8th Grade; 2nd during a convention relating to autism (since I'm autistic, as mentioned on my last blog); and my 3rd in my senior year at high school. Man I really hate seizures

And finally...

Now that my uncle is going to have the internet, I'm gonna game online with my DS and Wii titles, of course I have to install my Nintendo USB connector unto my uncles computer. Now I'll be able to play MPH online for the Metroid Tournament Union.

A Lot is Happenin'. See Ya!

6h05tly's Tales: At the Hospital

A new genre for my blog posting.

As requested by some of ya, I'm gonna tell ya a little story that stars yours truly. So with further ado, here I go:

---------------

When I was 5 or 6 years old and when I stayed with my uncle in East Lansing, we went to Meijer to get our groceries one winter night. I was overly excited that I ran and hit my head unto a car, which the impact caused a big cut on one of my eyebrows (I still have the scar, just to let ya know). Scared and frightened of this happeninng, my uncle rushed me to the nearest hospital to get my cut stitched.

While the doctor was sewing my cut I was in and out of conciousness during the procedure. So yes I could feel the needle poking through my skin :(

After I got mycut stitched the doctor told me to "take it easy" and "don't even touch the stitch" (As we've heard this before, huh?). After that my uncle took me home but while we were on our way, I saw a boy on those emergency beds and I shouted "Oh my god, that kid is dead!!" really loud since I was scaredand worried on what happened to him. The mother of that boy looked at me and my uncle in disgust, and due to my autism I didn't know the boy was unconcious so that confused the heck out of me(but my uncle and the doctor weresnickeringat my little yet loud shoutout. Sheesh).

Whatdya think of this story of mine? Funny? Scary? Weird? Let me know, OK?

See Ya!

A Tribute to Gunpei Yokoi

This month marks the 10th anniversary of the untimely death of one of videogame's most important iconic figures: Gunpei Yokoi. He helped Nintendo in the portable market with what would be his greatest and most successful creation: The Game Boy.

He worked for Nintendo in 1965 making toys for the company such as the Ultra Hand, an extendible grabing toy, which sold very well in Japan. When Nintendo moved from cards to videogames, Yokoi's first ventures in the handheld market was none other than:

Game and Watch, which was (I think) the inspirationof the Nintendo DS.

When the NES was released, and after Nintendo ressurrected the industry after the Crash in the early 80's, Yokoi worked on various games that would have an incredible longevity for Nintendo's videogame business:

Metroid and Kid Icarus (and many other games too)

After he created the Game Boy and improving on the handheld's design for years to come, he worked on a system that would become his complete failure for him, and Nintendo: The Virtual Boy.

His vision of the Virtual Boy was that he wanted to experiment the concept of "3D". After the cripping sales, vision problems among people, and its awkward (and uncomfortable) play mechanic, Yokoi (at the time) was known as a failure to Nintendo and an outcast. After his resignation in 1996 he worked with a different company (don't know the company name on top of my head :( ) to work on the Wonderswan.

On October 4th in '97 he died in a car accident. His death was a wake-up call to the industry, and many were in shock (including me) of his untimely death. To read the article, click here.

After his death, Nintendo continued the Game Boy brand and the franchises Yokoi-san helped create for the company. Seeing the successes of Metroid Prime, Game Boy Color, and the Game Boy Advance series, Gunpei Yokoi will forever be in our gamer's hearts for years, and generations, to come.

*A moment of silence*

Game Boy Forever.

A Lot Happenin: Halo, iNet, DS Online, and more

After reading the review of Halo 3, I can honestly tell ya that I most definately want to own a 360. Speaking of which I've written a review for the first Halo game. Click here for the review. Recommend it, if you like.

I couldn't access my internet this weekend as I promised my friend jesus_knight that I would be able exchange friend vouchers on Metroid Prime 3. My iNet (as I'm calling my internet) kept locking up on me (or freezing, whatever ya call it) each time I enter it. I did get J_knight's messages on my Wii console, but failed to reply to his Wii message due to my internet connections (I did PM him about this just now). Luckily our Wii codes were precise, so that's a good thing. So I'll be using GS on campus whenever I get the free time to post blogs or anything else for the time being.

I finally got into the swing of things and returned to my online gaming ways. On friday during a dance I chaparoned I played Rummy on Clubhouse Games online for the first time in a long time. The next day I played DKR DS (had to erase all my saved files so I'm starting over again in terms of Adventure Mode and other unlockables I deleted), Portrait of Ruin (not a good online game to play, very linear), and Mario Kart DS where it marks the first time I've raced against someone who was cheating.Going against someone whogoes by the nameof "THE Cheat", he/she used red koopa shells, bloopers, even blue spike shells to attack his/her foes. Even though he/she used such cheats, the hacker placed last overall with me in 2nd place. I hate that when you have to experience such unbalance and unfairness, don't you feel the same way when something like this happened to you in online games. I know I know, I feel your pain

To wrap up this blog of mine, Heroes season 2, Bionic Woman, and Smallville season 7 premiere this week. Heroes is gonna be great, Bionic Woman needs to have better acting (after seeing the preview that came with the Heroes DVD) and Smallville will continue its storyline where Season 6 left off. Wonder how Clark Kent will defeat Bizarro. I wonder....

That's all for now. See Ya!

A Lot Happenin: September Edition

A new genre for my blog posting.

A lot is happenin' in the month of September for me. So before the nitty gritty, here we go:

I began my Junior year in college this past Wednesday with only three classes this semester: Social Problems, Humanities I, and Intro to Psychology. These are the last general education classes I have to take before moving on to my degree classes in the next semester after this one is finished. The major I'm aiming for is none other than... Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Once I graduate, I'll be using this degree at its full potential, as a comic book/comic strip artist. I've always created comics since I was five and I've also like writing stories with the drawings I made (as seen with some of my artwork from my old profile in honor of the Metroid series.) This is also the first time I liked all of my classes, since my previous semesters I only liked a handful of classes, especially the Art classes. This also means that I'll be doing more studying and less gaming in the months ahead, which is a bummer since I'm in desparate need to continue my progress on Prime 3, but education comes first I guess :(

I got nearly half of my friends tracked onto my new profile. And the ones who didn't get the chance to track me, or a bit confused by the whole new profile name-change, I'll be tracking the rest of my friends as soon as I can, since I can't construct my time with all the studying and other stuff. And to everyone confused with the whole Aashkii-to-6h05tly thing: From this point on, I will be using my 6h05tly account and I will no longer log in to my Aashkii account. That means I won't read anymessages (such as PMs)under my Aashkii name. I apologize to everyone who PM'd me by my Aashkii name :(

My street is being reconstructed after decades of neglect and touch-ups. Right now nearly half the street is now dirt, and It's impossible for traffic to go in and out of the road. Heck, I have to walk to the corner to get to the city's bus that takes me to campus, and to drop me off at the corner later in the day. The road should be finished in a month or two, Ireally don'tknow :?

And finally, and probably the most depressing of all, my mother is dissconnecting her internet and cable by the end of the month  This is because she's taking some college courses to earn her Master's degree. This may mean that I might not be as active on GS as I normally am. She is however finding alternatives to have internet without cable (if it's possible sine we have DSL right now). But my uncle is thinking of getting a new computer with internet in the future, as well as Digital cable along with it, so this news of mine makes this a little less depressing. And if this comes to be, expect me to continue my blogging and other ventures on GS. If not, I'll just uselog in to GSduring my lunch break on campus :)

A Lot's happenin this month for me. See Ya!

Prologue of 6h05tly

Welcome to my new profile. As some of ya know, I was known as Aashkii, VG Enthusiast. I was kinda tired of my old username and since I can't change my name to something else (due to GS rules) I decided to move away from my little home called "Aashkii" and into my new home of "6h05tly" (if ya catch my drift).

Feel free to say hi or just stop by. And if you want to read my blogs from my old profile, feel free to, to know a little more about me:
