as an example, michael's son shouting out obscenities while playing a parody of CoD is a satire, but the game doesn't come out saying it is a bad thing, it just demonstrates a thing that is out there in the real world...

man this year ubisoft showed not one but two phenomenal looking demos, this and the division. they seem to be doing really strong right now!

I have a question for martin gaston. you admit that microsoft knows sales of kinect software hasn't been good or as good as it wants them to be. so how do you propose microsoft should court a broader audience other than "core" gamers? if kinect titles couldn't attract them enough, what sort of titles could? how can microsoft attract your girlfriend, parents or younger siblings ? and don't tell me with "a more diverse line-up of games", because frankly aside from skylanders, motion or (pretty much dead now) music games, what other titles have ever attracted those demographics in a mass-market sense anytime before?!

the question is do you meant from this article that microsoft should have a more diverse line-up for the "core, mostly twenty something male" gamer which mostly won't be attractive for any other demographic, or for the non-core demographic that you mentioned in order to be more taken seriously outside of the games industry? because frankly from the whole article I can't understand what you really mean!
