@Vastano I will not be pre-ordering their games and buying them out the gate like I used to. If the game happens to be good after renting, then I might buy it.
There are many advertisements and quotes suggesting completely opposite of what the ending was, and I'll loosely refer to them: "the end will not be something you can compare to other people's endings like A, B, or C" ...and... "you will have 16 (17 if you include failure/game over) different endings based on your decisions"...
By settling, Activision admitted the scales were not tipped in their favor. They essentially admitted they were wrong, at least according to contractual obligations.
If this MMO retains the following features, I think it will be good: 1st person perspective, fast travel, huge sprawling worlds, same variety (and more as usual). I do not see how Bethesda can make a bad game with this. It may not be the best MMO when it is released, but with the right execution, I am mostly optimistic it will be very, very fun.
