Not like the GB versions

This game turns out to be a disappointment because it is technically classified as an RPG, even though it is really a fighter. The game is exciting at first because you get to see all of your favorite creatures in 3D form, but the repetitive nature of the gameplay makes this a dull experience.

The graphics are good but the sound is sucky at best. The game repeats the same comments over and over again, and the sounds the pokemon make are mediocre. This is just not what you are expecting.

What would have made this game much better would have been the ability to catch and raise pokemon. If you could actually choose their moves and watch them grow, the game would take a whole new position. I know that it is compatable with the GB games, so you could upload the ones from Blue or Red. The problem is still that you can't get much out of this game unless you purchase the other stuff too.

I enjoyed it to an extent, but would not recommend it if you are looking for the stories and content of the GB versions.
