Patapon is the one of a kind of game that will no doubt remain in ur collection of psp games for ever. the reason why is that this game brings a unique style of gameplay which includes live action strategy and rhythm that combines in a really balanced way of playing and fun too. patapon starts off as a tribe that was very powerful but got later defeated by the evil zigotons. their main objective is to find it( they dont know what it is) by the help of the mighty patapon ( you!!!!). patapon haves u give the patapon different commands depending on the sequence of the button u press, and u have to go with the rhythm in order to give them commands( for example, square, square, square, circle makes the patapons march ahead)there r 6 types of units in the game which include patapons on horses, with bows, shields and swords and etc.
also, there r different kinds of patapon colors which have different abilities. the music is fantastic once u go into fever mode which the patapons go along the song and may also end u up singing it too!!!the bosses r cleverly designed and u can keep fighting them so that ur troops end up stronger( beware: also the boss gets stronger the next time u fight them). there r lots of kinds of weapons and armor to choose where u end up with different posibilities. another feature is that there r different minigames that give materials in order to create patapons like wood or rock. the down things r that combat is kinda simple and u have to backtrack a lot to previous levels. another thing is that u can only get ur weapons if the boss or a zigoton drops it when it dies which means u just cant build weapons. patapon is a great game which i recomend anyone with a psp and a spare 20$ to buy this game because u wont regret it.
