User Rating: 9.1 | Medal of Honor Frontline GC
Medal of Honour Frontline is a truly remarkable game. Faced paced and action packed, it is a truly great achievement. MoH's presentation is remarkable. The game begins with your character, Lieutenant Jimmy Paterson on a Higgins boat cruising towards the raging warzones of Normandy. ys. This is alot like Saving Private Ryan. And much like the film, your alliies are cut down in the waters of the beach, dead before even reaching land. This is your starting point. Pick up your weapon and fight. The first stage really sets the mood for the rest of the game, which is enjoyable from the beginning to end. MoH's gameplay is suberb. It has a setup like most FPShooters with little that truly makes it stand out. This is not a bad thing though, we don't need a super speed or weapon hacking button for this type of game. You can however call for hints, which helps in some situations. The graphics for MoH are... okay. The characters faces look great but some enviroments look somewhat bland and sometimes textureless, which takes away from the games presentation. The sound.. wow. The sound is great. The voice work is superb. The Germans speak German, the americans speak... american and the music is perfect; It'll move you to tears. Yes. That how great MoH's music is. Once you complete the game you can always go back and try to get some beter medals. No two battles will be the same though; the enem A.I is pretty good. They'll take cover, gun butt you, full back and sometimes kick grenades away from themselves, making battles intense and fun. Overall, Medal of Honor Frontlines is a great game. The single player missions are amazing and multiplayer is good too, if a bit limeted. If you are in the mood for some authentic World War 2 excitement, MoH is right up your alley. In the words of the game itself: You just don't play, You volunteer.
