This is a very solid game. I never had the chance to play the other God of War games, but I am glad I started with this one. The story line to the game is very well developed. The graphics are awesome, and the features and playability are great. Kind of reminds me of the Devil May Cry series, except set into a Mythology genre. I noticed that being surrounded by stronger enemies was a little tough to fend off at first, but then I decided to play more defensively and use the block button to my advantage.. that definitely made a huge difference, became much easier to whoop up on everything. I haven't beaten it yet, but I have just gotten through Hades and thus far I am really enjoying the game. The upgrade options for your weapons are cool, and there are many unlockable items and sequences after you beat the game. I think if you don't have it yet you should get it, I don't think you will be let down.
