I've got a guitar, it's only a cheap thing, but I like it.
I'm not much of a fan of playing songs over and over, but I really enjoy writing riffs. I've got a few good, simple ones that I like, but it's hard to get anything to go on from there. I've never had lessons, so I'm rather awful, but I just enjoy playing :P
I play piano. I can read music but have been trying to develop my ear for the sound. Sometimes it is quite easy while other times I just can't hear the full arrangement. Practice makes perfect.
I currently only make music on my computer with Reason. I'm in a band and we send various files (music, vocals, lyrics) over the Internet to create the music. Slave Beaver Revolt is the name and the genres are whatever we feel like making, including rap, rock, dance, folk, country, black metal, a cappella and noise. We most often do electronic and rap.
I've never played an instrument in my life(well not seriously). My brother used to play in a band though and still plays guitar now even though he doesn't have time for garage bands anymore.
