I will admit that Xbox One S is good looking but it doesn't make any sense for me to switch my current model when my Xbox One is still working great and the same thing goes for my launch PS4. Overall the Xbox One S isn't something I could see myself getting but last-gen, I ended up getting Xbox 360 slim & PS3 slim which make perfect sense to upgrade but not for this gen however.

I have a 4K tv now so it was a no brainer for me. On top of a far superior Xbone I get a UHD disc player to enjoy on the new TV and of course HDR. It only cost me $60 out of pocket to upgrade from my old 1TB fat that sealed the deal. Thanks!

I never belittled the PlayStation 4, for the bulk of time it has existed the justification for its sales metrics as it stood on its own were more than mysterious, mysterious enough for even Sony to not even know or understand why it was selling to the degree it was. Not until the last year or so has it come into its own, it's fine now and I have no problem with it or how it stands as a system now, but for the first two years I had no Earthly idea why there was hype for it, it had mostly nothing going on, average games that were nothing remarkable and was very bare bones in terms of actual features or anything being added to it.
That reality the system faced for its first two years on the market cannot be overlooked, it was completely unremarkable and selling like it printed you money..
P.S. PlayStation 4 Pro is a total step backwards for Sony, why they released such a half-cocked system is beyond me.
P.P.S. That Uncharted 4 thread was satire aimed at the stupidity of this forum and people making those very same kind of threads about Xbox games...

I still havent noticed an actual need for the Pro. The slim maybe, though i wish they had actually made some improvement to it rather then just making it smaller, considering the Xbox slim is an improvement in multiple ways. And the Ps4 slim looks so meh. Though the pro looks fairly nice, its pretty huge.
Point is im actually tempted by the Xbone slim, but the pro doesnt interest me. Buying a Ps4 slim next week for the exclusives though. Last Guardian and Horizon zero dawn will be great.
I challenge you to find another SLIM REVISION that adds more features, eliminates more wasted space and is quite possibly the Best looking Console of all time......
I don't plan on buying one, but the S is a really good revision. I got to see one up close in the mall yesterday. Until then, I had only seen pictures. It looks awesome! It was smaller than I expected. If I was interested in the Xbox platform, I'd buy it in an instant.

@trugs26: aye thats was a great revision. the move the from DS to the DS Lite was also great. it went from what looked like a prototype for testing to a sleek and great looking handheld.
In terms of specs it's a piece of shit though. It's still weaker than the OG PS4, and far weaker than the PS4 Pro. Not to mention Microsoft's lineup looks abysmal next year.
