Poll Will you be buying a switch 2? (83 votes)
Im curious of what people think, whether they will buy in or not. Personally im going to pass on the switch 2, unless theres a massive price drop.

Using the Joy Con 2 as a mouse looks a lot more comfortable and maybe more accurate to use than the Legion controller.
You lead with the index finger on a Joy Con 2, which makes me thing you would have more accuracy. You're holding the Legion controller in a fist and mainly using your wrist to finesse, which seems less accurate and also more difficult for your range of motion.
Honestly, the only game I want to play on Switch 2 is really Donkey Kong Bananaza the most, Mario Kart World looks to be playing it safe again and barely seeing any innovation other than being an open-world. Seeing Donkey Kong coming out in July is a disappointment, it should have been part of the Bundle over Mario Kart.
It would be nice if Nintendo would have a Switch 2+Donkey Kong Bananaza Bundle this July and if they've told me that, I would wait for July. I have pre-ordered my Bundle at GameStop, still debating whether should I wait for July.
Edit: I've changed my mind, I'll just wait till July for Konkey Kong Bananaza to be released as I suspect there might be a bundle and I did ask my oldest daughter if she wants a Switch 2, and she said no. She still plays the 3DS as it's more fun to play on. Glad she did say no so I'll just wait until July. I could've waited for Metroid Prime Beyond Bundle but Konkey Kong Bananaza sold me the most out of the announcement.
For sure, but debating if Day 1 or wait until Holidays. The $80 Mario Kart was certainly a surprise. Holidays might have better bundles/deals.
I'm in the same boat about the recently announced Samsung SSDs: 9100 Pro
No idea if the holidays will have them cheaper, or more expensive. Unsure what the future will bring.
Not everyone has to be the genuine pig to be the first in line and play it, there's plenty of time to get a Switch 2 and it seems availability wouldn't be a problem either. Seeing Mario Kart World for the physical costing $90 over the digital of $80 is ridiculous!
Sure I want one eventually. I stopped caring about getting new consoles at launch after the Wii.
There’s not always games you’re interested in right away and even if there is you can wait. There’s always slims/lights etc whatever you wanna call them later on and price drops.
Honestly no, I haven't liked Nintendo's practices for years and I don't want to support them. Nintendo's like the Marvel Cinematic Universe of the game industry. Sure they're popular and makes money, but it's the same regurgitated showcase of varying quality materials That I got tired of years ago. The pricing is what it is, that doesn't bother me as much as it's just the same hyper colorful titles as before, and the system itself is going to have the same 3rd party issues as before because it's releasing with less power than almost all the competition already.
I was going to get one day 1, but I think I'll wait for things to stabilize a bit... Nintendo has lost their mind.
@WitIsWisdom: I've also lost a bit of interest. The only game I want is metroid prime, and I can wait.
It doesn't have any game I want on it... Until I get a new Zelda I truly don't care especially for that price.
Open world Mario doesn't interest me, Donkey Kong looks like something I will put 20 hours into and stop playing and go back to POE2.
