Halo Infinite Launch Fail

You, on the other hand, haven't played the very game you're so obsessed with.. If Halo Infinite did anything right, it managed to live rent free in the minds of cows almost a year after its release..

Sad that Halo: Infinite gets more talk coverage than any Sony exclusive and not even Ragnarok couldn't save rent free minds from Sony fans.

Firstly, i played the multiplayer, which i've stated a bunch of time already. Secondly, if you formed your own opinion, and you agree on that 9/10 when multiplayer is in question, then your opinion is simply wrong. This is not a matter of "i like it and you don't". You can say that for its campaign, sure. I personally find it to be an uninspired Ubisoft clone with a childish story and laughable characters, but i have played worse. But saying that the multiplayer is 9/10... that's just fanboy'ish copium. Like, i don't believe you one bit.

That's like praising Activision/Blizzard because they were very popular for a certain reason for the last two years. People talking about the game does not mean that what they're saying is positive. 343i has given us so much ammunition to laugh at that you just can't get enough of it.

I played the multiplayer for this the other day for the first time (purchased an XSX last month) and I chose Big Team Battle. The four maps were congested and uninspired and it took me 8 minutes on average to get into a game. Team Doubles had some cool new game modes but again, the maps were pretty bad. I'm sure the campaign is decent but this game is a 6/10 at best because multiplayer is the most important aspect of a Halo game. I used to be such a huge fan of this series too so I hope they can turn this around because this is genuinely sad

The single player wasn’t the part of Halo Infinite that was unfinished, it was the multiplayer, in which is why it got a lower score.

Rent free… As in $0 in additional revenue… Seems to be a trend with Xbox.

If lucky, they made $1 instead of $60. Makes me wonder how low the budget is gonna be for the next installement. Why invest much when you're guaranteed to not get much in return, right?

haha exactly, isn't that hilarious. Its been happening for 20 years, you would think they would get over it by now, but here we are in 2022 with halo infinite. How sad, every week theres 2 halo threads and its almost been 1 year since the game launched.

I'm hoping we have a halo infinite anniversary thread though, since the 1 year is coming up in around a week.

You’re right, lems don’t care about Sony’s 1st party, lems, sheep, and some hermits care about Sony’s 1st party. Hard is the only one I see consistently bring up Halo Infinite, however the term “movie games” derives from the hate of Sony’s 1st party. Virtually every faction wants to see Sony and the PlayStation fail, and the main reason for Sony’s and the PlayStation success is because of their 1st party, so their 1st party is highly talked about here.

Xbox is making generating more revenue than ever before.. you guys really need to factcheck your fanboy narratives and/or get some new material..

Unfortunately I have to boycott Infinite and all future Halo titles since they cancelled split screen co-op.

But the campaign was pretty good I thought. Not as great during the more linear sections but good in the open parts.

And how much of that revenue is made by Infinite? Yea, a completely irrelevant game in their lineup at this point. They could cancel it tomorrow and nobody would even notice. If they were to cancel a Halo game back in the Halo 3 days, it would've been huge for them. Halo has been Halo'ed out by 343i🤷‍♂️
