The tiger is just a more powerful wolf. Still it's nice to have some extra help. I think it might be a bit more aggressive compared to the wolf.

It seems like the guardian animals are just there for fun, rather than actually helping you. I kind of expected this but it would have been nice if they were useful and did have deffinate plusses and minuses. But hey, this games all about random fun really. Did I read correctly that you can have both a mount and a fighting animal. If so, I can see a bear-panda combination in my future...:D

I used the panda a bit yesterday. It stats were pretty weak but it was funny watching it attack people.

Never played these games before, looks kinda fun to be honest. :)

Do you fight with your own army in the game or do you fight alone?

It's a hack and slash kind of game. You use a charged combo system. I can't really describe it well because I just woke up. :P

If you're not sure try to rent the older Dynasty Warriors game. The gameplay is pretty similar.

Only hard part will be getting all the gallery items, unless maxing out someones bond gives you the general voice test. As you need to unlock all of the characters skills to unlock their general voice test. That means to get the "unlock every item in the gallery" trophy you need to get all of the characters skills unlocked.

If that's the case I'll probably work on that while trying to get 1,000,000 fame and getting my bonds up with everyone. I'm almost done with all of the stages so that's next on my list.

I don't think GS would skip a Dynasty Warriors game but who knows. Maybe it's for the best. :P

Even without the review though, I think the hype thread was worth it. My goal was to inform people. Which I did. :)

I could always PM one of the reviewers. Though it may take a couple of days till a response.

If you're curious about the game then I wouldn't really trust any of the review. It best you rent the game if you're not sure. You'll either love it or hate it.

Well while we're waiting for Gamespot review (I'm not letting this die yet! :x) I found Xplay review.

It's not as bad asI expected. It got a 3/5. Of course it wasn't reviewed by Adam Sessler or Morgan Webb so that might be why. :P

I also unlocked Red, Hare, Hex mark, and Shadow Runner in conquest mode. All good horses. Red Hare looks badass though. :P
