Poll Are you taking Trump seriously when he said that Canada will be the 51st State? (24 votes)

Yes. 25%
No. 33%
Don’t care. 0%
Canada isn’t for sale. 42%

I’d like to see Canada become part of the United States,it’ll probably solve some problems and maybe make new ones. It’s just a thought, I am not into politics and not a rocket scientist either. I’d like to see everyone’s opinions on this subject.

Please be respectful to all who have an opinion,no disrespect or hate comments.

Thank you.

I think he could seriously try. I don't doubt that he would seriously fail.

I keep seeing this "just joking bro"

The first thing he attempted to do with Ukraine, was try to trick them into a mineral scam that amounted to this.

https://archive.ph/ROVJD

Right now Ukrainians are being murdered because he deliberately made them blind, most likely to alter it back to this original attempted scam.

Yes, yes I do. I beleive everytime he says shit like this he actually means it and will find excuses to try make it happen.

Still disappointed the sniper missed.

I don't think so... I think all this talk about taking over countries is a big distraction so he and his goons can keep destroying the country and enriching themselves.

I don't take anything Trump says seriously but I don't take him lightly either. As much as, to me, he always comes across as someone with a mental disability, he's still powerful.

This administration is a disgrace. The fact that a president would say that is unconscionable. He's isolating the US and that does not make America great at all.

Any nation that is making statements that deals with the acquisition of another sovereign nation in a unilateral manner should always be taken seriously.

Truth be told, something like that might actually get me to go turncoat on my own country lol.

Canada seems "chill" relative to the US, and the US seems to be the one with the problems, to be frank.

US is looking for fight where there are none, seeing ghosts in the what are just shadows.

It'd actually be a pretty smart move; a West Coast, Pacific Northwest, and Canadian Alliance paired with Mexico and South and Central America just might make the remainder of the US crumble. Europe might come in later when things look grim for the US remnants to sort of seal the deal/act as negotiators, and we'd see the US maybe enter a new era.

ROFL nah, just kidding...fun to theorize, though

In this day and age, I feel that overt demonstrations of strength--or, more specifically, attempted demonstrations of strength--just kind of make people look like pussies.

Whatever happened to speaking softly and carrying a big stick? You know...actually being powerful but not saying "RAWR I'm POWERFUL!"

It's sad that we let wealth prevail in the US and the world so much because these people would be nothing without it.

It also erodes soft power.

Trump has been throwing it on a firepit.
