I have a Wii, my sister has a DS. Excuse me, i meant that my sister had a broken DS. Not compleatly broken, but she droped it so many times that the hinge doesn't work and the R button doesn't register. I have a bunch of games for it since she lets me play it. So, do you think it's worth it to ask for my own DS, or would it be better to request some good games instead?
You should ask for it, but going a little off topic for your sister's ds you should check out a place called "Play N Trade" they do repair services and might give you a deal on repairing it. I had broke my DS's screen a while back :cry: and got it back almost brand new:D!
PSP is waaay better. You cant really do anything with the ds except for games and those are like what $40 each? the psp has some really good games and is way better than the ds. Can you put photos on ds? NO. Can you put music on DS? NO. Cn u put videos on ds? NONONONONO. you see where im going?
If you like DS, then you must get it. Oh well... my sister broke her own DS Lite because she dropped it three times. The video game store owner suggested me that she should send her DS Lite to Nintendo Service for repairing it. You may tell your sister that she should send it and pay repairing fee.

So like someone said on here it's all about preference. And if you can, get both!! Oh and why do you hate the DS so much? You gotta Zelda (WW,MC and PH art style) display picture and said that Zelda: PH is your favourite DS game?

I have owned both DS and PSP, and while PSP was fun and had some serious titles I would still recommend DS. The momentum of games and onboard developers continues to grow, and the nuances it provides are great. Since you already have a few DS games yourself it seems like a good decision to me and many others here. I admit I personally am looking forward to The World Ends With You, the Kingdom Hearts team's new game. It is all in what you like, I love Megaman so for me the DS was a no brainer. It all falls on your decision obviously, all I know is myself, and countless other people on the forums play our DS' more than the other consoles we own, so I think it is worth it.
