You guys talking about the games? I would be more worried about the hardware. You just know nintendo is going to make a new 3DS with a second joystick among other things.

People are saying that, but Nintendo just keep pumping out new colours. I personally don't see it happening. The attachment is there for those that want 2 slide pads, but most games will not require it.

i really want nintendo to make a two-analag stick.though the touch screen works good as the second (in the case of CoD DS games),i'd like to be able to use an analog stick AND have the touch screen full of options i can use without pausing.

[QUOTE="Rod90"]Everyone regreats being an early 3DS owner.TankZorz
No.

Also no. I've found plenty of reasons to whip out my 3ds: games like Captain America: Super Soldier, and Samurai Warriors Chronicles and Dead or Alive Dimensions, or downloadable titles like Zelda: Link's Awakening DX and Gargoyle's Quest and Super Mario Land 1+2. Then the Ambassador games(Day 1 FTW): The Legend of Zelda(which I never had the chance to play), Yoshi(never heard of it, bbut it became my favorite puzzler), Super Mario Bros.(who can argue with Mario?) And some serious score chasing in DK jr. Then I have games coming up like Mario 3D Land, Ace Combat, Shinobi, Heroes of Ruin, MH3 and I, for one, can't wait to get my hands on the Circle Pad Pro. Good times they are a-callin' me.

From what I've heard, Nintendo is making sure the Circle Pad Pro stays entirely optional. All games are required to be playable without it. Sure, some games will play better with it but at least everyone gets to choose.

Yep! I regret paying $249.99 at launch. I thought it was the big deal, got brainwash by all those upcoming games video Nintendo shown. In short I felled for the hype, only to spent a giant amount of money to basically play a remake and know after all this time a brand new game, Super Mario 3D Land. Although the system has fun thinks, i haven't had the fun i was expecting and 3D is an unnecessary gimmick. Anyway I've learned my lesson and I won't be getting a WiiU at launch, maybe later but not at launch.

The 3DS was the first game console I had bought in like 8 years (normally a PC gamer). I was out of the loop on what was going on in the industry and kind of assumed that Nintendo was just unloading their next big hit on the world.

Unfortunately, that really wasn't the case. Nintendo has been marginalized by technological change, and I'm reluctant to mention the 3DS around friends who only vaguely know what it even is, or are familiar with it and think it's an antiquated waste of money.

Yes. Especially when there are no release dates for anything.

Spinnerweb

Exactly. This B.S. game Nintendo is playing by withholding finished games, and not giving out release dates fpr upcoming titles is pissing me and a lot of other 3DS owners off. I regret ever buying the system. What a waste. And STILL no news of when we are getting the ambassador program GBS games. They said before the end of the year.

[QUOTE="ZumaJones07"]You should regret it, along with every other early adopter. The Ambassador thing is a joke and they thought you guys would be pleased with it. The 3DS became serious to me after it was reduced in price. I still don't have one though.

I find that 255 hours on a console with no games I haven't played before (up 'til a short while ago) or that aren't worth playing is pretty good. Bearing in mind that the ambassador game construct about 20 hours of that and SSFIV is at 58 hours, the pre-installed stuff and the casual aspect really has accumulated a large amount for me. That's more than I can say for my 360, which I payed more for...

I don't regret it they had good trade in offers and alot of reward points I got to enjoy many great games I would have overlooked if I got it now plus the ambasador games which would cost £100 or more to buy. I have played it for 420 hours so why would I regret it when nintendo obviously provided plenty of high quality content.

And now the one game I prayed for(Fire Emblem: the Sacred Stones) is sitting cozily on my home screen. That one GBA game single handedly took all the sting out of that price drop. Way to deliver, Nintendo.

Not happy with the line-up so far, but happy to be an early adopter.

I don't completely regret being a 3DS early adapter. I like that I got like 20 classic games free. I do have to admit I really like that Zelda OOT 3DS.

Being an early adopter of the original DS wasn't as bad as this debacle. I only suffered a $20 dollar price drop then. This drop was a slap to the face.
