I know Batman always wins and that Batman is more popular, but if this were real, as the characters have been designated, the only way Superman would ever lose to Batman is if he were clinically retarded.

Superhero 101: Whoever is fighting for evil reasons will lose. Period.

Some people always argue about "which superhero would win a fight?" They never realize the simple thing though: That superheroes wouldn't fight each other unless one was doing so for evil reasons. Once you know which one is doing it for evil reasons, you know who is going to lose.

Not that it will be a fight to the death. With Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in the same film, they're going to become best buds in the end and form the Justice League. Not only because that'd be awesome, but because they need a reason to make a sequel to make LOTS OF MONEY. YEAHHHHHHHH. I'm sure the majority of folks have guessed that though.

Heh, all you people arguing about Batman's looks. Don't you know that comics, like Batman, have been around for over half a century? You can't possibly learn everything there is to know about Batman. If there's something Batman does/is that you don't understand, just trust that it happened in a comic decades ago.

Before all of you casual Batman fans comment on his suit and armor please read Dark Knight Returns. You can even watch the animated DKR movies and see how spot on this is. He did not have the Christian Bale or Michael Keaton style suits in this series. Batman was older and bit beefier that's why the suit looks more bulky. It just sucks the hate it is receiving from the uninformed. :(

Imagine if Christian Bale said yeah I'll do another Batman reprisal, and then you would have a better connection with the Nolan movies. The Batman you once knew is still the same with the back history you know from the past three movies. Plus the suit and Bat symbol would look much better.

That bat-suit fucking sucks. It looks like it's made of iron or something, it should not look like the Iron Man. They should have modelled the suit on the Arkham games. The bat symbol as well is huge, like no stylish design just way too bold and bulky.

Anyone curious about this movie should read the book that much of it is derived from: The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller. It is not only an important graphic novel in terms of both Batman's legacy and Frank Miller's body of work, but it's frighteningly relevant and insightful to the times we live in today, considering it was written in 1986, I believe..........

1) Superman would dominate Batman as he is an alien with super powers.

2) That Batman suit is terrible. It looks like the Disney film the Iron Giant.

Why does DC take their heroes so seriously? These are men in tights, for god's sake. At least Marvel injects some humor into their silly movies. I'm sick of the whole superhero genre. Can't Hollywood make anything without vampires, zombies, or caped crusaders?

Its amazing. Its the movie that I was waiting for.

Superman... meh. It's too far to believable. Flying man! nah, it's an uber imagination without logic. When I try to watch and like it ı'm just feel dumbed so badly. Filmmakers should let him buried.

I'm not liking this one bit, everything looks just wrong to me.

I have not read many Batman comics so for me it does not make a lot of sense that Re-Booted Batman can fight with Re-booted Superman. Some nice comment people explained that Batman can use Superman's weaknesses but according to the re-booted movie Superman does not have any. In the Superman movie reason for weakness was different than Krypton atmosphere, not sure if I got it right but there were no crystals, Superman had a hard time on General Zaad spaceship because of the Krypton atmosphere, Krypton space ship made him weak. So how come Batman can exploit his weaknesses, he surely cant reconstruct Krpyton atmosphere on Earth...or can he?

so much happening in this movie that makes me kind of sad.

i havent been following much of the news but to see lex luthor and wonder woman in this movie makes everthing just a huge storywise disaster. not only are we seeing 3 new characters in this movie, but they all need some sort of background story in the movie and then some action and then some conclusion... is this movie 4 hours long?

i liked the first movie, storywise it was crap, i mean, if lois lane can find out who superman is, surely batman will find out as well and should just take his mom hostage right...

When news came out that Affleck will portray batman afriend joked that Helen Mirren would make a better batman. Ths time, perhaps a better Luthor as well

Well if that's Batman's reason for trying to beat Superman, he's gonna have a lot of fights in the next few movies. Not with villains, but with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, himself...

I don't really like the Marvel movies and I hate the fanboy war but at least Marvel has their movie characters be somewhat like their comic characters. Captain America and Guardians were great because of this.
This DC 'cinematic universe' has Batman introduced at 45, a long-haired nerdy Lex Luthor and Superman apparently willing to kill people all over the place. And the first meeting between Bats and Supes they try to kill each other, when neither ever kills, and their big fight in which it's based off is basically their last meeting in the comic.

All of you are hating now, but you will enjoy the movie when it comes out just like with everything else in the past. Remember how everyone thought Hugh Jackman and Heath Ledger would be a terrible Wolverine and The Joker lol.

Assuming the scenes snippets are in order, I like how Bruce Wayne runs through the dust and debris, and is completely clean when holding that child. He must have a ton of wetnaps in those slacks.
