Star Wars: The Force Unleashed again in '10

I wouldn't mind if this game came out in 2011, if that will fix the bad gameplay with bugs and slowdowns that the first game was so famous about. If the new game possesses the same problems as the first one, then once again the full potential of the game is not explored, being once again a simple medium game that could be so much more!

I hope the The old republic is gonna be enough for me to forget how boring star wars games have been this gen.

I hope they put more polish on it this time. I had always been a casual Star Wars fan, but this game showed me how cool the mythology could actually be. I fully enjoyed the first one, but all the bugs and glitches really detracted from the overall experience.

Damnit lucarts stop serving us crap. Where's battlefront 3? another jedi knight game? or what about a new Tie fighter game or something? Star was games this generation suck. The force unleashed is not that bad a game but there' just nothing that excites me about it. Just another action platformer.

I dunno. I enjoyed the first one. It was good but not great, not good enough to buy. I borrowed it off a friend and beat it basically over a weekend. I guess I'll either rent this or borrow it off a friend. The first was not worth buying as it was really short and had no replay value whatsoever. I just wish they would make a direct KotOR sequel, not an mmo. Just give me a KotOR style game set whenever and I'll be happy.

I'm very happy they'll be making a sequel. I hope they use this opportunity to redesign and update the controls to be more precise.

Was actually pretty impressed with the first one, and with some polish, I think the next one could be amazing. Will have to keep my eye on this one!

This is great, the first game was brilliant, and if they can have it with a good a storyline as that but also improve the slightly flawed (in places) control system, then this is going to be fantastic.

All I can say is.....WOW!

Awesome!!! I loved the first one, even though it was a little flawed and rushed. I can only hope the next one fixes the problems from the first and amps it up even further. I can't wait to play this!!!!!

With the motion controls this game rocked, and was best on, the Wii. One of the best games on the system. Just add an online fighting feature and let me know when it goes on sale!

TFU was pretty underrated. It was a solid enough game with impressive moments and good story! Wii/PS2/PSP/PC versions sucked, though.

the first one wasn't that bad, but i would reall much rather have a game called....STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT III. from a sales point of view, surely the battlefront series is second to Force Unleashed? Make it happen Lucasarts, please.

God just bring back Jedi Knight. I want some real variety, not a Beat-Em-Up with lightsabers.

The first one was a piece of garbage. I have little hope that the second one will be any better. Lucasarts seems to have lost the ability to produce a decent product ever since the Prequels came out. They could have made all the old-school Star Wars fans giddy with a new X-wing/TIE Fighter game, but no, that would be going back and continuing a series that was actually good...

PC version sucked.

if they put more effort into the combat then I am all in I hated the game because of the combat system I only played it for the story and I got stuck at that horrible "bring down the star destroyer frigate with the force" and I stopped playing ever since

all i want is some more customization and longer game and im good.

As long as they: Sort the goddamn targeting system, Make enemies more hackable and numerous, Make the lightsaber and blocking work during a boss battle. It will be the game the first one should have been.

Good to hear, I loved the first one. Lucas Arts stumbled onto something most game makers and players have a hard time understanding. You don't have to reinvent the video game everytime you make a game, just make it fun.

I liked the original, even though it had flaws that made it downright frustrating at times. That said, there are definitely other Star Wars games I'd rather have. Battlefront 3; Knights of the Old Republic 3; Republic Commando 2 -- just to name a few. But if they *really* want to make me a happy camper, give me a current-gen X-Wing or Tie Fighter.

@finaleve I see what you are saying but this isnt the same as making episodes 1,2,3 there was great mystery surrounding on what happen to the jedi order and how anakin feel to the dark side. This is totally different we already know this character past,present, and future. There is no mystery with this character because it was already covered in the first force unleashed game. It would be nice if they could implement the combat system into a new Jedi Knights game or KOTR 3. Sadly looks like we will be waiting along time for the next rpg star wars video game because of TOR.

@ oneusairman Why do you think the first 3 star wars movies weren't as praised as the other 3 (IMO anyways aside from the childish approach). Maybe they'll fix some of the glitches and clunkyness and make better use of all the abilities (because honestly, force throw everything solved a lot). I do like the approach of this one at least. The possibility of 2 endings seems likely, and if thats the case I'm all for it. But they need to create a different character instead of one we saw die.

Hey guys I dont see how they could possible go forward with this story. So that leads me to believe that this is going to be a pre-quel. Which is really a stupid decision if that turns out to be true. I mean honestly you got so much more sw games out there that could sale and your wasting one on a prequel to a story that has already been told. Why would i want to play a character that eventually dies. Its like going to the end of the book and reading that first or see the last 10 min of a movie.
