Star Wars 1313 Could Return, But Not Necessarily As a Game

I feel i should point out that the game being made by Amy Hennig isn't the Assassin's Creed style game, that is the project Jade Raymond is going to be working on after her new team help Hennig at Visceral bring their Star Wars game to the finish line... They almost certainly going to be different beasts... Hell Hennig would be the perfect person to see 1313 to completiion

They talk about 1313 as if it's a coveted ancient discovery whose secrets must be unlocked..... when really, wasn't that game almost f*cking finished??? Why not take that game and copy it onto a new engine and build upon it????? You own the company that made it do you not? You know, the one you shut down?

What could have been :-(

Damn you Disney. You gave me a good childhood but you are ruining my adulthood. Most cancelled games never come back, but I guess there's some hope still.

We want a new Dark Forces/Jedi Knight, KOTOR 3, Empire at War 2, a X-Wing/TIE Fighter sequel, and maybe if you have time after that either Republic Commando 2 or Imperial Commando so we can freaking find out what happened to Sev after 13 years!

1313 already came back on the Clone Wars TV show.

1313 based on the seedy under world of Coruscant, with Boba Fett as the the main man could have been anything. Unfortunately the early game play (shoot cover) didn't look all that inspiring from what I saw. It would be nice if Henning and Raymond could flesh something out giving great depth/story, bringing that under world / black sun element to star wars. Something where, you had all the gadgets at your disposal to take down marks, be it traps, close combat, long range sniping, or just run and gun when $hit hits the fan and you need to GTFO because it's all gone pear shaped.Maybe one day we'll see it? While the concept of 1313 sounded great, I'm not sure the execution was where it needed to be, it seemed to be shaping up like TFU which was fun for all of 2 minutes.

I'd be happy if they just give us a new X-Wing and Tie Fighter game for now please :)

I'm sure selling the exclusive rights of Star Wars to EA was profitable but from a creative standpoint, it was foolish. EA isn't known as a big innovator. At least let some other studios make games too.

1313 would be served as a game since it brings something new. Probably nothing will come of though as is usual for stories like this.

This kinda feels like yet another P.T type affair. "Oh you like this? you want this back? **** you and merry Christmas."

If you bring this game back to life please keep EA out of it, they ruined Battlefront, don't let them ruin this to.

It was the worst idea EVER to abandon this game. It was literally on track to be GTA V in the Star Wars universe. I still cry myself to sleep at night thinking about it.
