The whole thing is stupid. Is this a Soul Calibur game, or a Star Wars game? I'm starting to wonder. And this new guy is nothing but shameless marketing for "Force Unleashed". Apparently they care more about cash than series integrity...

Why dont they put Vader in Resident Evil 5 while there at it. Throw Yoda in MGS4. Boba Fett in Guitar Hero Aerosmith. Lets ruin every game.

Game looks SICK! This is going to be a strong, if not the strongest summer release of videogames in a while. Keep this up and my 2.5 GBs left on my HD will be spent.

Dudes, you all got it wrong. If you wants Yoday on the PS3 or Vader on the X360, you dont have to wait at all.... just go to the nearest GS store around and pre-order the SC LE for the console that you want and gues what.... youll get the caracter of the other console. Tada!!! If you were really gamers and made friends in diferent stores youd knew. But bleeee, you all just keep talking nonsence or dont take my word for granted and go to the store. Enjoy!!!!

Got to agree with DarksjeiK - the Star Wars characters just don't fit in for me. I know they've had special guest characters before but these really feel way out of place. I would rather see characters from other video games, really. Hey, is Minsk from Baulder's Gate looking for work?

It doesn't matter how good Outcast was, or how good you think Obi-Wan was, neither of them are fighting games. Even action games that feature a fighting game style versus battle system like the upcoming Force Unleashed for the Wii are not fighting games. Try reading and comprehending before you insult and accuse someone.

They are kinda following MC, they included DC caracters in their game...but it's kinda more exiting to fight with Vader than with Batman....

Am I the only one who feels the Star Wars characters distract from the overall Soulcalibur atmosphere? Sure Vader is cool..but in a SC game?? Why not create a separate Star Wars fighting game based on the SC engine...

This exclusive crap won't last vader will be made accessible through a live download for money of course.

I'm not as interested in this new apprentice, as I am in another idea, that no one seams to be talking about. Remember that in SC3, you could create characters using the normal chars(Mitsurugi, Taki, Nightmare, etc)? Let that thought sink in for a moment. Let it sink deeeeeeeppppp. If they do things in a similar fashion, then you will be able to create your own Jedi.

i bet this game will be much better than the new street fighter and mortal combat, I'm also glad that my system gets Darth Vader =] he will probably have an alternate older Anikan costume like the way nightmare had the Seigfreid costume in soul caliber 2

This sucks, they should give full acces on both yoda and darth vader on the 360.

Why can't the xbox 360 have vader? I hate when companies make certain things exclusive to one game. If you want me to buy your game, give me all the content, not just some of it.

this blows, i would buy this game if vader was on the 360, but he's not so im not only dissapointed, but frustrated. We should at least be able to buy him on Xbox live

This is cool, but upon reading this however my first thought was why not Darth Maul. It's still cool though... anybody thinking what I'm thinking, that maybe this is a test run/teaser and maybe Lucas is palnning to tap namco to create a full fledged SW fighting game.

I am sure the newcomer is a beast at fighting, but yoda better have skills. I can see it now: Yoda takes a slash at Starkiller.... Starkiller dashes back and prepares an attack of his own.... Wait Nightmare just sliced both of them in halve.... Nnightmare wins.....hands down!!!!

Wouldn't the 360 be better off if they had Vader? I mean, he has a red lightsaber wich sort of goes together with the red ring of death. IDK just a thought I had.

Very cool idea. Soul Calibur 4 is growing into a must own for fighting fans. They don't have to stop there, a couple more Star Wars characters would be welcomed. I'd even be willing to buy them seperate online.

Nintendoboy16: You might be right about that but look the only reason people bad mouth Soulcalibur Legend is because compare to Soulcalibur 4 it sucks(don't get me wrong if I get a chance to play SC: Legend I would probaly like the game but still everyone knows that it has nothing on SC 4). Also I don't see why they can't lower the graphic for the Wii version if there was one(they could just do like what LucasArts are doing with the Wii version of The Force Unleashed which look just as amazing as the other two version.

This does make the Star Wars appearances more interesting. I wonder if the Character Creation mode will include Star Wars gear?

@Serbine Even though it's cool for SC and Star Wars fans, I think the SC team is never going to develop a Wii SC again due to the bad talk on Legends, don't get me wrong, I liked SC Legends, but I think Namco will never develop an SC for Wii again. Even if it's a port of this, which they wouldn't do because they would cut a lot of the graphics details. I'm even surprised that SCII's graphics capabilities are good with the Gamecube.

Just don't care about fighting games to pay $60 for something like this. When it gets into the used market next year, I'll give it consideration.

I am a big fan of soulcaliber and the starwar battlefront series so i can already tell that this is going to be a great game!

At first I wasn't liking the Star Wars in Soulcalibur but seeing the incredible graphics makes up for the extraordinary circumstances for Yoda or Vader being thrust into a universe that has nothing to do with SW. My girlfriend is looking forward to this game since she loves fighting games and got a kick out of the fight mode on the Revenge of the Sith game back in 2005. I least I can admit that I was being too critical of a game tossing Star Wars characters into it but some of the complaints about this Unleashed Apprentice go beyond being a fanboy of the series.
