Shippin' Out Aug. 9-15: Madden NFL 10

Haven't gotten a Madden since '07 for PS2, looking forward to my first one for the PS3.

I never played the ps2 version, so I'm looking forward to trying Phantom Brave: We Meet Again out myself.

Why no Madden for PC? :(

I haven't cared about Madden since '07, and I even returned that soon after buying it. But this one is making me think differently. It might be just a roster update for those who have '09, but it's leaps and bounds from '07. The graphics, commentary, presentation, game speed, tackling and pocket mechanics actually made the demo very, very enjoyable. Still nowhere near games like NHL 09 or MLB The Show, but this may be as close as it'll get.

Its football yes and its the nfl but its a really bad football game all brand names aside. 60$ for a roster update and some new overused tackling animations no thanks.

i will pass, same game same flaws, just ask ign.com to get the review. not wasting my money like i did for 09'. if it wasnt about money then y the hell do the running backs and recievers still run out of bounce for no reason just to lose yards and a down. EA can eatadick.

Getting Madden every year is a tradition for me. It marks the beginning of football season. Madden + fantasy football. However, I really do wish they would start releasing the roster updates instead of charging $60 for marginally upgraded features. Go Falcons and Raiders!

im really thinkinga bout getting Madden 10 looks like the game is going to be upgraded big time and plus i havent gotten a madden since 07 so this will be a great time to get one again

Yea I'm getting Madden 10 but only because it's the only football game out and because I'm a football fanatic (go Pack). I'm just looking forward to Sept., Oct., and Nov. That's when the real blockbuster titles come out. Halo: ODST, Uncharted 2, Assassins Crees 2, Call of Duty Modern aWarfare 2.....man I can't wait. Madden will just have to tie me over until those games come out. Hopefully no more date push backs :-)

This will be the 1st New-Gen Madden.. That I want 2nd guess about gettin.. I loved the demo..

Im Actually Surprised By this years Madden 10...I Got The Game already and I must say it caught me off gurd since I HATE Madden! I Always Loved 2K and I still do but this will get me by till this ridiculous NFL license deal is over...Madden is pretty good this year...ya should check it out! I wish they would implement the ESPN Presentation is their DAMN GAME THOUGH! Like NFL 2k5 did...ahhhhh smh the good old days :(

madden fails epically

No PC madden = lazy developing. I hate Madden anyways. And after playing the Madden 10 demo made me realize that it's the same game as last years, the year before last and for the last decade. Madden has no competition they forced it out so that We can't decide which american football game is the best, they knew it wasn't the best so they do this move not until 2013.(stupid NFL) Madden won't be getting my $60

@Nightrain50 Updated rosters for free or a small cost would be exactly what got me to buy my first Madden title in 5 years. I think that's one of the many things that EA didn't like about 2K - 2K was releasing roster updates via Live and it was revolutionary. It made me lost interest in Madden then and now. I've actually boycotted Madden after the whole exclusivity deal pushing out 2K. Hate those money hat tactics. With how leading developers continue to support titles via DLC in order to continue to make their titles relevant, Madden has to start doing the same to keep up with this trend. Sure they want to sell next year's title (with next year's rosters), but that just means they need to continue to innovate to continue to sell year on year.

Not much of a fan of madden. NHL 10 on the other hands looks dope. Best sports games are the NHL games (not the 2k ones)

AGAIN NO MADDEN ON PC??? They plan on losing the PC market or what??At least they should throw out some patch for the ancient 08 with new players, jerseys and updates. I am not buying any of their games from now on.... Such a letdown...

Why couldn't they continue Madden on the PC? Oh Gamespot you forgot to mention Red Faction DLC on the 13th.

Besides Madden, the only other thing coming out thats worth caring about is the Xbox 360 update.

Another load of rubbish games... Can't wait until September...

I got madden 07 skipped 08 got 09, I don't see enough to make me drop another 60 dollars. I'll probably wait until next generation of consoles to buy Madden again or if they ever bring it back to PC. They should just start releasing updated rosters for like 5 bucks, which should be free but Microsoft needs their greedy share along with EA.
