Sony today announced the list of free games that PlayStation Plus members will be able to download in September, and, as usual, you'll be able to get two games (or more) each for your PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

PS4 owners get Sportsfriends, the local multiplayer-focused collection of four games: J.S. Joust, Super Pole Riders, Hokra, and BaraBariBall. Originally released in May, this may be the excuse you need to finally pick up some extra DualShock 4s or to put those PlayStation Moves to use. The other free game is Velocity 2X, the sequel to quality shooter Velocity (and remake Velocity Ultra), which launches on September 2.

PS3 doesn't get any brand-new games, but it does have two that can be played on your own or with friends: the Super Smash Bros.-like mascot fighter PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and strategic action/shooter Hoard.

As Velocity 2X is a cross-buy (and cross-save, much to my delight) game with Vita, owners of the handheld will be getting more than two games in September; they'll be getting four, as PlayStation All-Stars is also cross-buy compatible with Vita. Then there are the two specifically allotted for Vita: Joe Danger--the stuntman-themed platformer from the makers of No Man's Sky--and TxK, the spiritual successor to classic shooter Tempest.

All of these games will be made available to download for free by Plus subscribers beginning next week in the United States, Canada, and Europe. They'll remain free to download and play for as long as you remain a Plus member.

@uchihasilver @grenadehh @sonyonly4 @shinjuki0 @kane6911 Because only Sony/Playstation fans visibly make a pathetic childish ass out of themselves on a minutely basis on this website.

I don't give a rats ass about the PS4, it's the pieces of sh1t using it and then typing nonsense on the internet I have a problem with. You just flat out said all the games on sale right now on XBL suck, as if no one would call you on your complete bullshit.

Bioshock Infinite, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Dead Island, Spec Ops The Line - widely acknowledged as 9 of the best games last generation, but "They all suck" because you decreed it.

Not to mention your argument about PS+ requirement for multiplayer is outdated at this point.

You're wrong. You lost the argument, so kindly diaf.

@uchihasilver @grenadehh @shinjuki0 @sonyonly4 @kane6911 They all suck? Are you f*cking retarded? Wait, you are.

Far Cry 3, FC3 Blood Dragon, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, Sniper Elite 3 and a ton of other games, many of them the highest rated games of last gen, and "they all suck."

I missed this, talking to kids with autism, when I was gone yesterday.

More shit games. By now I would expect Sony to give AC Blackflag for free on PS4 or at least PS3. Instead more indie games which some are good, but most don't interest me. At least Destiny is coming out in September, hopefully that game will be good and long enough.

This kind of nonsense makes me glad I let my sub run out about 7 months ago. Hasn't been anything since then. For game saves I have my crap in the cloud and anything I couldn't is on my trusty Xbox 360 force unleashed 2 special edition usb drive. The ones that let you anyway. I'm looking at you dante's inferno.

@DarthMallrat @grenadehh True but I pre-ordered that game anyway. All the good games offered on PS+ I already had or had played, and the only exceptions were Sleeping Dogs and Demon's Souls.
