ACTRAISER?! EUROPE GETS ACTRAISER, AND WE GET THE S****Y GENESIS VERSION OF VIRTUA FIGHTER 2?! I remember watching that old video game-themed game show on like NIckelodeon or whatever, and they always had Actraiser on there, and so I bought it and it roxored my boxors! GIVE US ACTRAISER!!!!

I need Actraiser! I kept playing that about once or twice a year until my Super Nintendo finally died a few years ago. I've been going through withdrawl since.

I'd rather see other stuff for the US...not that I wouldn't play PacMan...

I think your all missing the point. Some games might come out for different places because they are more popular there. You have to understand Asia and Europe are nuts about videogames. They have whole sports set around them with people who have offical multi-million dallar sponors who are known as Profesional Gamers. People make a liveing on gameing over seas not like here in the US where it's mainly a pass time.

ActRaiser was quite enjoyable for the SNES back in the day. I still play it every once in a while. Bonk's Revenge I never really got a chance to play but it's worth trying. Pac-Man is Pac-Man. It's fun to play in short doses every once in awhile.

Hey comthitnuong - I still find myself playing Pac Man once every six weeks or so, but you're right in that there may not be a reason to buy this version as I have the 2001 Namco Museum disk o the PS2. If I could only find a Wii without going to Amazon and paying up to $400.00 (I'm dead serious, search Amazon yourselves). Oh man...

The free versions aren't exactly legal, but there are so many better legal ways to get Pac-Man in the form of tons of Namco Museum games, including one headed to the DS and versions on the PS2, PSOne, PSP, Xbox Live Arcade, and GBA. There's just no reason to buy this.

Actraiser....awesome game. Even today, while simple, it stands alone as a truly innovative experience. For years I've been hoping for a proper sequel or update. Guess this will just have to do.

Pac-Man is awesome! I downloaded it this afternoon. And it fits snugly into that category of fun, addictive games you just keep coming back to! But where's the EU release of Lylat Wars (Starfox 64)?

This one was inevitable...But still I have a hard time seeing anyone really getting into pac man nowadays.

Pac-Man is one of my favorite games of all time (as you can tell by my icon), and even I couldn't imagine paying five dollars for a standalone copy of it, much less a home console port of the original arcade classic. Pac-Man should be bundled with other games in a compilation or given away for free. Normally, when I see these retro games I think "That game is already on GameTap so I won't need to get it." But even though this game is on GameTap, there are so many free versions of Pac-Man available on the PC that it just doesn't make sense to even worry about this game on its own.

I just have another title that I hope that it will be available on the Wii VC: OGRE 64. Have not played it yet and from the looks of the past reviews, this may be a top seller when it comes out. Lets hope it gets release this summer.

But will we get these here in the US?

Bonk's Revenge is one of the best TurboGrafx-16 games of them all, and it's actually much better in terms of overall playability than the first game, Bonk's Adventure. Actraiser is fun in spurts, but I honestly would have preferred to have the action sequences play a more vital role in the game. Pac-Man is Pac-Man. And I agree with one of the posters above - there are much better versions available than the NES port.

VC is a great idea. In theory. They keep realising these games no one care about anymore instead of the TRUE games everyone wants. It's been said over and over again and here I am to say it once more: give us SMRPG. And one more thing, VC seems to be the only way that games are realised on the Wii. C'mon, SMGalaxy, Metroid Prime 3, these are the games people want...

omg omg!!!! BONK!!! I opened up the article thinking i wouldn't care about its contents after reading the title but then i scrolled down and Bonk!!!. Bonk is one the best side scrollers from back in the day(well it had a cool concept) I would pay 10 bucks for it but thankfully its only 600 points

Act Raiser is a great game. The mix of Sim City crossed with 2d sword fighting, I played the emulator, got stuck, gave up, but will come back to it again. Cheers for Act Raiser!

I hope Nintendo eventually brings SMB3, and SMRPGLOTSS to the U.S.

I am pretty tired of PacMan,I know its a classic they keep reminding us it is a classic but that doesnt mean we will enjoy playing it release after release compilation after compilation.Some classics should remain classics and not flood the market year after year. Actraiser and Bonks revenge on the other hand is sweet as hell :)
