Oh no, somebody doesn't know what free means. I heard Netflix offers free movies every month.

@Pedro: Ask yourself this, "Would I still pay for gold to play online if there were no free monthly games?" If the answer is yes, then yes, the games are something extra and they are free.

@Pedro: Unlike Netflix, the Xbox 360 games you download can still be played without a subscription.

@Pedro: Strange. I just picked up a game and I didn't pay anything for it .... You pay Netflix for movies, and Xbox live for playing online.

@sealionact: There's no point in using logic. Some people will believe whatever "Alternative Facts" help their delusional need to hate Xbox. Its like trying to teach a Trump Quantum Physics.

@sealionact: You mean on Netflix you pay a subscription to watch the movies, and on Xbox you have to buy a subscription to Xbox Live to get the 'free' games. I have an Xbox one and love it but it's the exact same thing. Still a great deal, we have gotten 4 AAA games and 100+ hours of gameplay for free over the past month or so.

@josephgood13: It's absolutely not the same thing. You pay a subscription on Netflix to watch the movies, and you pay for Xbox live because the servers you play MP on cost a lot of money - you didn't used to get games included with Live ... it took 6 years before they gave the first one away.

@sealionact: Xbox has always been a paid service. You pay for Quality and Security. That's why nobody has succeeded in hacking Xbox live and stealing financial information from customers accounts, unlike some console networks which now costs the same price and still goes down 3+ times a month. XD The games are a free bonus that they are not obligated to give out at all.

@Flyin3lvl: cool story bro. Ive been on xbox live for 6 years with an all digital library. There has been no service alert lasting more than 6 hours since Lizard Squad hacked the networks in November all those years ago. And even then i experienced no issues.

@Flyin3lvl:

Except if you have been using PSN for 6 years you surely would have experienced the PSN outage of 2011 which brought PSN down for around two weeks worldwide...

Facetious or not your comment was terrible.

@doctor_mg: how is my comment terrible when i copied and pasted his reply and changed live to psn and never claimed it wasn't down - he claims x box never goes down or gets hacked i have links to show it does - the last being last march 2017 and i make the terrible comment , yeah

I guess this is logic ""iv never experienced any issues therefore no one else does"" ""iv experienced issues therefore everyone has""

@Flyin3lvl:

Because it legitimately does not work with the example of PSN. Back in 2011 PSN was hacked and services were shut down for two weeks for everyone world wide.

Again, I understand your comment was supposed to mock his idea, but the PSN example doesn't work. If you said you haven't experienced any issues aside from the Lizard Squad hack in the last 5 years I suppose it could work.

Also, his comment stated that nobody hacked Xbox Live and stole confidential payment information from customers. Which I believe rings true. Xbox Live has been hacked before, but payment information hasn't been stolen (though it has been charged through the Xbox live service). If you'd like you can provide me with the link that shows otherwise though.

@Flyin3lvl: Of course. Reality is what i perceive it to be. If i die, in my perception reality will end. Nobody takes the time to consider my side, or even cares too, so why should I do so for them? Hell, im convinced most of you filler people are just NPC's in the program to convince the Player with the soul that it is real. People like you with your sad little copy n paste replies only help provide further evidence that my observation is correct. Maybe if more of you carbon copies were actual individuals and not a personality goulash cherry picked from the people they interact with i'd put more thought into the perspective of others. But you keep on being a clone since its worked out so well for you. Have a nice day!

@quackingintensifies: have a nice day and have a nice life . Was just pointing out from your original comment ""that x box doesn't go down or gets hacked"" yet it does which just shows your wrong.

Gamestop recently got hacked

Yahoo got hacked

Many other company's gets hacked

Not just Sony one track mind one track thinking not looking at the bigger picture just ""only Sony gets hacked"" in your narrow perspective

Don't wanna admit your wrong with a dumb comment then fine

Your sooooo much smarter then me , hope that fills you with glee and happiness , in my reality your just another dumbass

No, you pay for Xbox Live because it's a scam and you're dumb enough to pay for it.

@sellingthings: that doesn't really make sense, everyone still had to pay for Xbox Live before GWG was even a thing, at the same price point. So essentially, yes it's a free service, a bonus if you will. It's like if Netflix said "now we are adding live TV to your current subscription at no extra charge," that would be a free upgrade.

@sellingthings: False again....quit spreading these lies as DLC was not ALL free (or even mostly for that matter, we are getting more free DLC now than we did in the 360 days) as you state before GWG. As an example, I give you one of the first pieces of DLC as an proof of your error..... Oblivion Horse Armor.

Don't try to change history to backup your falsehoods, as this is easily proven false.

@sellingthings: And that is also false, case in point: Add-on Links 2004 courses, Karaoke Revolution songs and Halo 2 maps all cost money to purchase when released. Most of the Halo 2 maps EVENTUALLY became free after a few months but not all - the last pack was never made free to purchase. So yes I do know what I am talking about (unlike you) and quite within my right to bust you on your lies and misinformation.

@kdogpa: how about when EA sent free hard drives to their longtime subscribers? These people still argue that it's not free since you paid for a subscription. You could just hand them the keys to a new car and tell them it's free and they'll say "well it's not really free if I have to spend my precious time and energy to take the keys"
