First Of PlayStation Plus Free Games For June 2017 Leaked, Apparently

June's freebies are coming soon.

It looks like the first of June 2017's PlayStation Plus games have been revealed.

The official PlayStation Turkey Twitter channel tweeted a picture of the PlayStation 4 games Killing Floor 2 and Life Is Strange that references PlayStation Plus. The tweet was removed, but not before NeoGAF was able to capture an image of it.

So it looks like Killing Floor and Life Is Strange could be June's free PS Plus games on PS4. There should also be freebies for PS3 and PS Vita, though these were not referenced in the PlayStation Turkey tweet. Given that it's the end of the month, we would expect Sony to make an official announcement very soon, surely this week.

Since it's the end of the month, don't forget that now is your last chance to grab May's PS Plus freebies before they return to their normal prices. You can see a rundown of all the titles here.

@bonzaibillie_99: The Engine for this sort of game , Just so detailed and the characters are also so well rounded and lifelike . It is as good as being part of a major tv show. The decisions have real consequences unlike certain other games.

@zura_janai: Not "really good", but it is just plain "good" imo. Story, characters and situations (with some hard-hitting topics like suicide and abduction) are fairly well-developed. The time-travel core game mechanic that lets you retry choices (and sometimes you have to if your choice ends up with you dead) is interesting. Dialogue is a little rough at times - if you cringe at the word "hella" or feel "the SJWs have ruined games", then I wouldn't recommend. 7/10 from me, if you want a score.

@mdinger: It was aimed at a certain demographic but it transcends past that due to tight dialogue and interesting setting and characters. It's very much like being the main character in a really good mystery novel.

@deviltaz35: 100% agree, since I'm very much NOT the target demographic and nonetheless enjoyed it. Indeed, I'm very much looking forward to the recently announced sequel and see where the writers take things. Surprised to learn it sold 3 million, since it seems like a bit of a niche genre. Imo better than most of the Telltale games.

@mdinger: Remember me was a beautiful game and as soon as i heard this was from the same French studio i had a feeling it would be something special. They have true artists at this place.

There is always a very dynamic feeling and vibrant world in their games that is just fun to explore and play.

@deviltaz35: I also played Remember Me (and enjoyed it), but Life is Strange is a different kind of game. Remember Me imo is much more like Mirror's Edge or Enslaved - Odyssey to the West (i.e. a story based 3rd person action game), whereas Life is Strange is much more like a Telltale game. Incidentally some other good games I can easily recommend for fans of these type games broadly are Republique Remastered, Dreamfall (+ its sequel, Dreamfall Chapters), Oxenfree, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Firewatch (the last two are basically "walking simulators", but imo the best examples of the genre).

@mdinger: Loved Oxenfree, couldn't get into Republique , Haven't played what Remains of Edith Finch as i was waiting for the game to be patched on PS4 as it's really terrible performance wise. Firewatch bored me to tears but i loved Dreamfall Chapters. Played it on PC from very early access.

@immortaltech6: You think SJWs have ruined games? Or do you cringe at that notion? In any case, Life is Strange IS an "SJW game", in that it involves a female protagonist dealing with a number of female orientated issues and "emotions".

@mdinger: Simply having a female is not what makes a game SJW. If those emotions are part of her character or gender then it's natural. Any reasons besides that for you calling it as such?

It's is on the way to negatively influencing gaming though. Look at what Druckmann, entranced by Anita S., did to TLoU. Not a single intimate moment between 2 people except for 2 underage girls in the entire game, promoting homosexuality. That's one example.

@immortaltech6: I'm referring to the commonly held definition often used by the anti-SJW crowd you see on forums (i.e. female protagonist/potential homosexual relationship/female emotions etc). I obviously like "SJW" games - a good story/well-written characters/well-acted/solid gameplay mechanic is all that matters to me.

@mdinger: Same here but not when they are a caricature or shoehorned in for some social marketing tick box to appeal to minority groups for sales or to be trendy. Perfect example would be Bioware after their acquisition. Then it appears to be an agenda to corrupt gaming with sociopolitics.

@jancis25: I mean dragonage origins is the best game for both offerings next month and it's not AAA, AAA = budget, also playstation plus has given a lot of AAA as well, heck the AAA games you're talking about had previously been handed out by playstation plus in the past.

Watch Dogs is a boring game though.

Let's be honest, you're getting the shitty version of a game that plays best on pc: Dragon Age Origins that sells for around 5 dollars usually

An assassin's creed from 2012 that is usually seen as one of the weakest in the series overall

Watch Dogs

and the most indie of indie games.

That's 2 horribly reviewed AAA games, one being a last gen game and the other being one that came out at the beginning of the gen years ago.

Compared to a Square Enix game that is newer than both games coming out 2 years ago, a game that got rave reviews.

Do you know that assassin's creed 3 and watch dogs both since at a user metascore of 6.3, those are both multi plat games too so no fanboys to bolster or drain the score.

Killing Floor 2 on PS4? 8.2 user score.

But yeah, Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed 3 are boring games.

Watch Dogs 2 is still pretty boring but it massively improved upon Watch Dogs and AC 3 was just a bad game that was the first to implement a feature that went on to be not shit though not in the game, and I'm talking about boat combat in 4.

I mean I'd take the games for free but I did just refuse getting assassin's creed 4 on sale for 10 bucks on ps4 when it's a vastly better experience than watch dogs and ac 3 combined.

Overall the ps4 games are games I'd rather play outside of dragon age origins which I play on pc since it's vastly better on pc and is built around it. I wouldn't really buy any of the games on a normal basis but the ps4 ones are the ones next month I'd more than likely play through.

Tales for the Borderlands was pretty funny (so far) from this month and I beat abzu though alienation is what they got in europe and it's vastly better than any games outside of da origins that either have gotten in a long time since rocket league
