Capcom Announces Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster For PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Last-Gen Consoles

Translation: We are creatively bankrupt, this is all we can do to the series now, without ruining it farther.

Even though I do not like this HD remasters I know I will end up getting RE:Z as there is nothing else on the radar from them I care about and I knew that game was good but I lent out my copy years ago and never got it back.

So curse you Capcom and thanks.

For all the remasters that we've been getting lately, I don't see any for games I'd be willing to buy again. I'd love for Konami to remaster Suikoden V...or release a Suikoden game, period.

I've enjoyed a lot RS2 back in the day. I tried to play RS5 on my Xbox a few weeks ago and couldn't stand it for more than a few hours. The gameplay and mechanics felled too old school even for me.

Just remake 2, 3 for Christ's sake!

Really, this series needs to end. At this point, Crapcom a flogging a dead horse. Their RE games are so horrible, that all they can do to keep their dwindling fans, is to keep on rehashing and rereleasing their older RE games in the hopes of keeping their fans. Well done crapcom you dumb*****.

No Wii U version? Too bad. I'll buy for $5 on Steam later next year, then.

I don't get why they are neglecting the Wii U. At first, I thought it was a crappy console then I got one and, frankly, despite its problems, it's really something else...

My favourite RE game is Code Veronica, but all the titles before RE4 are gems so remastering them is a good Idea. Too bad no love for the Wii U system

I think it's been quite obvious for a while now. Capcom has run out of ideas and all of the real talent left the company years ago.

Big whoop! Crapcom please for the love of god STOP WITH THE REMASTERS! Make a new Resident Evil instead or reboot the series NOT remake everything! Sheesh!

i got all the gamecube remakes and exclusives when capcom announces a Resident evil 2 HD remake then i'll be excited

Personally when it comes to Res Evil, I treat RE4 and after as a separate series.

I'd probably pick up remasters of everything before RE4 if they release them. I think Capcom would be foolish not to release RE Zero in the west.

RE0 was freakin' awesome on the GC, one of the killer apps on that system.

Hey, since we are no longer able to make good RE games, let's just re-release the games we did make when we did have talent!

I loved the recent HD RE re-release. It's just sad that RE is practically dead now.

I played this on my Wii U and quite enjoyed it. I will still pick it up for the PS4 but I hope that they will release a physical version this time and put more work on optimizing the game to run at 60fps.

Wow, another one for my collection. Never played the RE0, and it'll be nice to play it after the remaster. Hope they do RE2 and RE3 remasterizations too.

RE0 was great in it's day and should make for a nice HD upgrade. I'm with virtually everyone else in hopes of a serious facelift of these standards towards RE2 and RE3. Myself, I'd even like to see RE CV get this treatment.

Hopefully though, in remaking these old RE games, the devs will be able to recapture the spirit of old school RE for RE 7. Whenever it may come out.

I don't expect old school gameplay in RE 7, just old school atmosphere and approach. Once zombies started riding motorcycles in RE5, I knew it was downhill from there. RE6 took that level of stupid to another level entirely.

I'm happy with this mostly because it will be nice to play the game at 60fps.

Yeah this is great news because the resident evil HD remaster was fantastic on Playstation 4 let's see if they have the talent to do this for Resident Evil 2 or 3

Nice! I can't wait to play through this again! Now redo RE2 and RE3 in the same style as 0 and 1, and we'll be in business! Also, it would be fantastic if they could enable to co-op online for this game, but that may be more difficult to do than it may seem on the surface.

Hell yeeeeeeahhh!!! Omg this is so awesome, hahaha. But you know for what game i'm really looking forward Capcom? A proper remake of Resident Evil 2 and 3, it the style of the RE1 and 0 Remaster for Gamecube! These games truly deserve some care, even more than 0 i would argue!

Glad to see this on other systems. I don't hate the gamecube(in fact I love it) but the entire concept of exclusives is just idiotic.

Revelations 2 felt like an arcade zombie shooter.
