Borderlands 2 confirmed

Being hours and states away from close friends, it's hard finding 4 player co-op games. This game was one of our favorites. Thank god for a sequel.

I can not find words for how excited I am for this game.

Cool, its about time.

First game was ok, got bored seeing the same looking weapon just a different color, I mean come on they're whole selling point was a billion guns or w/e and then you just get color changes for the same looking weapons.

@veggie530 i know what I'm talking about i played as sniper and used snipers with 98 or higher accuracy and had the talent to improve accuracy hit detection was still bad

Borderlands is definately my favorite game in the last few years so this is freaking awesome! However, one thing about this is bugging me. They keep calling it "post-apocalyptic." That's inaccurate. The game takes place on Pandora which didn't have an appocalypse. It's just a very hostile environment.

I'm really happy to hear about this but wasn't it just yesterday that the guy said that until we make an announcement it doesn't exist?

This is officially my most-anticipated game of 2012. Hope they make it better in every aspect, because Borderlands was amazing!

Give it a fleshed story and characters and I'm in.

toss in some team death match and some races. Races would be sick think of death race.

i loved the first game but it needed more guns, there just was too little loot. i hope they address this issue in the sequel :P

@tttooooozzz The hit detection in Borderlands was fine... weapons had accuracy ratings and were effected by movement and such. If a weapon had lower accuracy it was generally because it had better stats somewhere else.

I'm really happy for this, but I also hope they add a few improvements to the story mode. It doesn't have to be over the top, but a story mode that is at least worth paying attention to would be nice.

Boarderlands was ok I guess, to damn repetitive with the backrounds thou, and no "inside" places to scavage, jus alot of outside envro's. And no story or character dev at all, I can't remember one persons name in that game or hardly the name of any place I went. I can still give tons of details about places and chatacters from Fall out 3 and I've already put 150+ in New Vegas. But I can you all about Sherriff Lucas Simms from Megaton or describe the android named Harkness from Rivet City, or Moira from Crater Side Supply. I'm only comparing the difference in story telling and character dev not directly comparing Boarderlands to Fall Out, it jus makes my point. To me a game can only be considered good or great if it all around is good or great. I really like Boarderlands but it seemed really slapped together in alot ways and jus unfinished in other aspects. But overall they have laid ground work to make one hell of a sequel, I hope they do cuz I can see the potential the game has, I jus hope they deliver. And let me tell ya, the definition of a "Skagg

i just hope they fix the hit detection and AI this time they were abyssal in borderlands the game was still fun though

Just please Gearbox no respawning enemies every couple of minutes in this one. Great game but that was a little annoying in the first one. It's the main reason I haven't beat Far Cry 2 yet.

Best gaming news i've heard in awhile. I played many, many hours of the original, all the DLC (even Mad Moxxi's for the added locker space). Such a great game, small nitpicks aside. Can't wait to see where they go with the next one!!

Awesome! I just got the first game last week and haven't even started playing. Looks promising though!

Borderland was a grea surprise for me. I pretty much passed over it when I saw articles and news on it but ended up getting it after a friend suggested it to me. I did not knowing what to expect from it but I loved it. Great with Co-op and just all around fun. Especially the duel feature (thats how we decided who got what loot, or just to mess around). Story was good until the end (was really disappointing) but still it is one of my favorite games and one that easily was a sleeper game for me. Definitely will be getting this one also.

hell yeah i enjoyed with evertyng wiht every dlc and final dlc was awesome too, hmm we knwo that they moved on other planet but if they will be on pandora again it will be cool anyway! Claptop robots rules :D

Great! I can't wait. I hope the old character make an appearance, with some new tricks of course. I kinda grew to like them.

caption under picture says "It's good to know that Breathe Right strips will survive the coming apocalypse." this isn't after the apocalypse. this is a different planet. it just happens to somewhat resemble an atmosphere that we often envision in post-apocalyptic themes. way to know what game you're talking about, gamespot. yeah. i went there.

Well this is pretty sweetness, but I STILL haven't finished the first game yet...MAN I'm behind on games. :P College does that.
