An X-Men RPG... what took them so long to think of that Idea?

User Rating: 8.2 | X-Men Legends PS2
Gameplay - I've always been a fan of real time rpg's. So of course this game seems to play great to me. There's nothing I dislike about the style or how it handles, but at the same time nothing that stands out, which in most cases is a good thing. Also The leveling up system is nice, because the members of your party never stay far behind level wise. It brings in a lot of X-Men fans' favorite superhero, as well as super villains. Most stuff can be broken, which is always a nice touch. The Items such as Comic Books and Sketch Books are also a nice addition to the game. (8)

Graphics - Hmm, cell-shaded. While I'm not its biggest fan, It actually works well for this game, because I imagine otherwise it would become very easy to get lost in all the action, so it's a good thing they stand out. However It could have been better (8)

Sound - The voices are very well done, as are most of the sound affects. The only thing I guess I didn't like is all the grunting, since it becomes repetitive after some time. (8)

Value - Hmm, not much reason to go back, except for the fact that if you miss something, you can make it up, cause you can't go back to get it (7)

Tilt- A must for the mutant in all of us (9)
