Outstanding!
Anyway, enough griping. I just picked this game up today and the only reason I stopped playing it was to make this review. I love it! Absolutely love it! The water skiing and wave racing are out of this world! Archery, bowling, all of it. Never been much on golf, but it this is your sport, you'll love it!
If I may say a word about the Swordplay...the noise it makes when you conk your opponent on the melon is enough to make this my fave. It's like Wii Sports Boxing, but with sticks. You bat your opponent repeatedly until he/she is knocked off the platform into the ocean. (Yes, it's played like "Wipeout"...high above ground level). Thwak! Thwak! Thwak! And over he goes. BWAHAHAHA! The further into the game you get, the harder it becomes, and by about the tenth opponent, you are getting a good workout.
Cycling is fun - you "pedal" with your hands instead of your feet.
Canoeing is a challenge. Take the safety strap off your wiimote so you can paddle off the left or right side of the boat more easily.
Frisbee has a learning curve. Make sure you have lots of space to move. It takes a little English on the controller to get the hang of it.
All in all, this is a remarkable collection of games. And the new Motion Plus is sharp, reactive, and a step up from the regular controller. Only complaint about the Motion Plus is that it doesn't accommodate a wireless nunchuk dongle. Regular wired nunchuk only. Boooooo!!
Play on, Boys and Girls. Wii Sports Resort will keep you busy for a long time!
