Not the most exciting game in the world, but for a Wheel of Fortune game, it's pretty accurate and fun!
There have been many editions of Wheel of Fortune for almost any platform ever produced, especially for the PC, but this one does a good job! It doesn't require a super fast computer, it has really nice videos, and it's accurate for its time!
Of course, I won't bore you on how to play Wheel of Fortune, because if you're reading this review, I'm pretty confident you know how to. The difficulty level is just right, but sometimes the AI is a bit impractical, solving puzzles with only three letters shown in a good sized puzzle.
Personally, I think the graphics are very good for its time, and I think they're still great today! I like how they made Vanna integrated into the backdrops (her reflection on the floor, her applauding on the big screen, etc.) No visuals, but Charlie O'Donnell is featured as well as Vanna, but Pat Sajak is nowhere to be found (he makes a VERY VERY small appearance in Wheel of Fortune 2003 PC in the intro video, but nowhere else).
My only complaint about the game is that sometimes (no matter how fast or slow your PC is), it freezes from time to time (not every game but I'd say one in fifteen) after a video plays...which can be frustrating if you are at the end of the game.
So I know this game is over ten years old, but I'm still playing this game! It serves its purpose to please the major fans of Wheel of Fortune!
Personally, I think it was unfair of GameSpot to make someone who wasn't even a fan of Wheel of Fortune to review this game...Nicole's review makes you think that this game should be avoided like the plague, even if you are a die-hard WOF fan. That is not the case. I think that Nicole was forced to do this review, because the game was NOT that bad...just my two cents!
