Virtua Tennis 4, the latest addition to Virtua tennis series is a total letdown. With really nothing to get you excited, the game really is one of the worst sequels of games that i have seen. Lacking the depth which Sega was able to give for the previous editions this is totally off track. Having weird looking animations, which give a shine to players make it even more disastrous. The career mode till this one was released was one of the key features that all tennis fans out there liked about the game, but when it came to VT 4, it became a total letdown. Career mode is always fun but with new features like the ticket given away by the coach randomly really spoil the fun. VT 3 had convincing gameplay, good visuals and good sounds. But VT 4 really is poor in gameplay with too easy controls, giving it no depth at all and the visuals and sound rendering has also become the downside of the latter. You would be able to understand your favorite tennis pro from behind, but in this you would think Federer to be Roddick and Nadal to be no one. Really irritating music as well, if you wanna play the game without getting frustrated it is better to turn off the sounds. The game would have been much better of it hadnt been released. 'Total Letdown' is an understatement, really.
