Wonder Woman 1984 New Trailer Breakdown - 12 Things To Know

A new official trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 premiered at DC FanDome, giving us a final look at Cheetah. Let's break down the latest trailer scene by scene.

Wonder Woman is back in action and facing off against a transformed Cheetah in this new DCEU trailer.

DC FanDome kicked off with a panel for Wonder Woman 1984. The panel brought together the stars of the movie, along with director Patty Jenkins and surprise guest, original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter, to answer fan questions about the movie--but the real highlight was the new Wonder Woman 1984 trailer.

While it lacked the absolutely choice remix of New Order's Blue Monday that the first trailer had, it provided all sorts of new information and clues to what we can expect whenever the movie is finally released. Don't get your hopes up as it won't be coming direct-to-digital any time soon, according to director Patty Jenkins. We got an up-close and personal look not only at the new design for Kristen Wiig's Cheetah, but also some hints about Pedro Pascal's Max Lord, the resurrection of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, and what exactly Diana is doing with her time in the 1980s.

So, with that in mind, let's go scene-by-scene and break down the latest Wonder Woman 1984 trailer. Here are 12 things to pay close attention to as you watch.

Trailers look great. Reminds me a lot of Marvel's Thor Ragnarok. Not a bad idea for DC to copy from the best and the masters of movie making. The lasso spinning is nearly identical to Ragnarok's hammer spinning move with machine gunny sounds

Especially after all the crap like TDKR, Superman attempts, JL, Shazam and the dull chars getting their own movies inexplicably like The Flash (worst char in all superhero movies, the TV Flash is so much superior to the goofy movie one). Good to see them do well with bright cheerful costumes in WW, Aquaman like how all Marvel movies have been - bright and cheerful with steady action cameras and none of these shaky cam bs.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, I won't watch it in theaters but am willing to pay $20 tops to watch at home.
