Why Battlefield 4 Is So Damn Good

Battlefield 4 has seen a resurgence in popularity ever since DICE's latest game, Battlefield 2042, was announced. Despite a very rocky launch, Battlefield 4 has turned out to be a standout entry in the franchise with an excellent chaotic sandbox and a wide variety of weapons and vehicles. Combine that with a wide range of maps and post-launch content with DLC expansions and Battlefield 4 makes a case for being one of the strongest Battlefield games yet. In this video, we take a trip down memory lane and explore all the aspects that make Battlefield 4 such a good game, from the right hits of nostalgia to the consistent support by DICE in fine tuning of the gameplay. LOVED the single player campaign in here & online was fun but my inexperience hindered me from playing long.

@just1mohr: I enjoyed the Single player too. Set pieces were few but great, and with graphichs that not only still good look today, but beat any CoD made to this day.

Hell, CoD could learn some pacing from this.

Eh. They still haven’t made anything that lives up to Bad Company 2 and they’re too scared to make a 3rd. At least they admit to that fact, though.

at the end game part in the campaign - if only i could sacrifice the character i'm playing as, then it a okay game.

Anything including BF4 and prior was just incredible. So many good times were had.

The modding capability for games like BF2 was just amazing too. The Project Reality mod was really something.

I personally didn't like BF4 mostly because I played it at launch. And I Liked BF1, and BFV much more. Because I played both of those 1 and 5 years after respectfully.

Even with this in mind. The bugs in BF4 were so bad. It's really hard to go back.

Oldest game I have that looks AMAZING. Any prior to it looks dated. Liked the single-player as well. Nothing spectacular, but the premise was interesting and it was decent stroytelling. Never bothered with multiplayer-anything, tho.
