US Release 3DS Unboxing Video Feature

Can't help but notice Street Fighter II in the background.

When Nintendo wonders why people did not rush to buy the system someone needs to refer them to watch this revue. They make it seem like a pain in the butt. It is so inconvenient for someone to ship you a fee system and free games to play and revue.

Noooo its region locked! BUGGER. I was going to buy it on Amazon.com since the US is sucha difference with the Aussie cost.

its not a black ds!! jeeze we get it. HE made it a bad review!! honestly, if you didn't want to review the portable console, you didn't have to. he gets something for free and still complains? he even goes on his phone! very unprofessional. other than that, the 3ds looks very promising. =]

This guy is a complete tool. My 6 year old son pre ordered the "Blue" 3ds and after watching this he thought he needed to change the color now. I have since been able to convince him that this guy is old, jaded and silly but I can't understand why the color of this machine matters? I know we are watching for reactions from these guys but this fruitcake opens his pink case and then complains about a "blue" unit!? Especially, a free one! Next time just show us what you got and how it works and keep the superficial garbage to yourself.

I just played Streetfighter 4 at gamestop it was really good in both 3d and 2d it was amazing in both glad i got it...cant figure out another game thinking about splintercel...or maybe just some ds zelda game i missed both any suggestions?

played it and its brilliant the 3ds uses dept more than having stuff popping out of the screen and i am from Ireland so i am getting the 3ds on Friday 2 days before most of you ha ha

Ahhh, I cannot wait for this Sunday. I've got the 3ds and SSF4: 3D pre-ordered since there were no other launch games that seemed that interesting.

Not the most intriguing video, but I am intrigued about this system. Waiting for the inevitable price drop down the road. perhaps then I can finally "retire" my original bulky DS.

I don't wanna be a dick but where is the review of all those games you guys got in the box, how about a review before they are released so we can pick a launch game.

These guys are so depressing.

People are trying to argue that the 3d effect won't have lasting consequences just because they have watched 3d movies or certain TV specials in the past. Fair enough, but did you consider children can become addicted to games, spending 5+ hours at a time playing a single game? In my youth, I can sure remember times that I did, only in this case I don't think long term testing on childrens' eyes has been evaluated, I definitely think there could be a negative impact. I guess in the end it all comes down to parenting and self-control, if the child is young enough for there to be potential negative lasting effects, the parents should be monitoring their child's gaming habits. If the child is old enough for these effects to still be an issue but not as severely, the person in question needs to practice self-control and learn to take a break every hour.

@aqyaatix u can buy previous games its called e-shop....they said they b bringing back all the old gameboy,color,gba,and gb games!!!=) cant wait...

funny how people think ngp is going to be better Sony is going to make the same mistake they did to psp go (download games only).

its hard to doubt the 3DS when nintendo has been dominating the handheld gaming industry for over 20 years. if there is one thing they can do right its construct a handheld with a large variety of games. also i'm hoping that nintendo will have some sort of online shop through the 3DS where you can purchase and download prior handheld titles...

3ds is cool. but i go for NGP. maybe i buy 3ds after price drop.

I played in Best Buy today and it was actual very good...i was amazed how close i could fly to the ground and barrel rolls in and outt of trees without crashing... u really can see sooo omuch more....tho the game pilotwing stinks...it was still cool.... i couldnt turn 3d up all the way tho cause the display was so far away from u i had to bend down to see the 3d right but still im amazed cant wait till Sunday!!! wooohooo!!

@Shaman_king_yoh they have in the past the original model DS and the DS lite have different battery spans. Basically I noticed a trend with Nintendo handhelds they are really good, but they add better things within the next few years. So trust me the wait will be worth it and possibly a slight price drop.

@Flint247 Yeah no thanks I am already spending money the handheld itself I don't want to invest anymore on something Nintendo should fix and will fix in the future within 2 years with 3DS lite.

@payne6705 There are Nyko Charge Kits for the 3DS to make the battery twice as long.

@wawasjohn I don't know... Nintendo has always had more or less of a monopoly in the handheld market. And the 3DS is much more than just a gimmick. I've actually got some hands on time with the hardware, and it's pretty awesome. There's lots of possibilities there. I won't be sure about how I think the NGP is going to do at all until they at least announce a price.That tech looks pretty expensive...
