Too bad the game doesn't let you explore anything, just hack-and-slash through the once Kinect-only events.

Trailer makes me want to play AC: BROTHERHOOD again. Now there's a game where you can actually explore Rome, albeit in a different age.

Sorry Crytek, not feeling RYSE. Looks nice, but with friends having played it (Gamescom) and said "it's boring," and the fact you can't explore... *meh*

@battlefront1943 THE LAST OF US. Beautiful, but nothing to explore. So really… besides someone's opinion of boring, which is what I thought TLOU sometimes was, got to do with a game being meh?

It's very impressive considering the Cryengine doesn't use baked lighting like Unreal does. From the gameplay I've seen though it looks like this will be a very linear game without any room given for exploration, it looks damn near railroaded.

Since when do you "explore" in slasher games? God of war was fun and wasnt very immersive.

@mrmcbamf Yes because the entertainment industry really thrives from keeping things exactly the same.

@pongley Probably because it was originally designed as a Kinect game...
