i'm so disappointed about the characters they chose in this game. I mean, Claptrap and ash williams? Brock is a pretty like-able character, and Glados could be pretty cool. But I have to ponder why they chose Ash Williams for this role. I would have loved to see Cave Johnson fill in Glados's role, or maybe they could have replaced Ash William with someone from Half-Life 2. They could have replaced ClapTrap with one of the more "Bad-ass" people from Borderlands. I mean, was ClapTrap really, the ONLY person they had to choose? Anyone who played Borderlands, 1 or 2 would be disappointed. I'm not mad at who they chose, i'm mad at who they didn't choose.
I hope they've improved the AI because there's something about bad AI that makes poker games impossible to enjoy.
I've tried the first game and to see 3 characters answer an all in with all their chips when they have knight high or worse and there's potential flushes and straights and aces on the board and just the river is missing AND I've been playing as if I had something big (and I did). I mean it's just ridiculous.
It's no fun playing hold'em against idiots because then it becomes a game of chance.
@Saketume In the description on the Telltale games site there is a whole section explaining that you don't have to be good at poker to enjoy what the game is actually about which is the banter. The game wasn't designed to be poker sim 2012, it was designed so all audiences even people with no poker experience could enjoy Tycho hiring max to kill a bird that had been giving him beak. If you play enough then you unlock hard mode that has decent AI not the best poker AI I've ever seen but they have a much better concept of hand power.
