why are people talking bad about this game..graphics yeah the wii isnt really a next gen system so its not gonna have ps3 or 360 graphics..but if your a fan of metroid then hell yeah be excited for this. its back to the way it should be..plus more! cant wait for it gameplay looks sick
Hey cool, not too shabby at all. I totally suck at Team Ninja games so I'm hoping that they don't decide to punish people like me when it comes to this Metroid.
D A M N I need to buy a Wii... again T.T least they're kind of cheap now.. only thing I need to do is get the money xD but damn with games like this, it's worth it.
Goin' retro with Mario and now retro with Metroid. Nintendo's been targeting everyone else. Now they're targeting ME. I'm not sold yet but OMG go retro with Zelda baby and I'll buy two Wiis.
hmm, I think the graphics look great - clean, pretty lush in spots too. I love that Nintendo wasn't afraid to 'go backwards' ... there are some Metroid power-ups I've been missing, like the speed-booster, that simply don't work in the FPS format ... looks to be a very creative combination of Prime and the old 2D scrollers ...
Don't blame Taem Ninja for the average graphics, they did a super great work with the Ninja gaiden series in both the gamplay and the graphics, if we want to blame someone blame the weak graphics of the wii itself
This game looks awesome. Nintendo is stepping out of the box, and trying something new. It adds both Metroid Prime and Super Metroid. And the look and feel of it tells you it's serious. This is definatly going to be on my want list, I got a feeling it's going to knock-out the competion.
cant wait for this one. looks like some much needed life is coming to Wii this summer. Metroid Prime and Trilogies were great and this video depicts "M" as very exciting but wheres the nunchuck?
Easily going to top every other game already made for the Wii. It looks like Nintendo is ready to take one of their series seriously, and if you want some serious high-speed action, I don't think you can go wrong with Team Ninja.
this is what ive been wanting for years, a giant 2-d game, just think of it as metroid's symphony of the night, and for those whining about graphics it looks way better then Shadow Complex and like shadow complex it wont matter as long as the gameplay is good, and it looks fantastic
This will prove to be an interesting game....it shows a lot of similarities to the Ninja Gaiden games(being co-developed by team ninja) I can't wait for more info.
looks like it should be a fun game.only complaint from what iv seen is it looks to be a bit to fast paced. by that i mean every thing is moving so fast. i like my games to be a little more deliberate in the way the characters move and control
Lots of nay-sayers but honestly I think this looks really good. I like that they are going for the sideways controller scheme with a bit of Prime's first-person thrown in. Don't really know why there are so many people bashing the graphics, they look fine. Besides since when has graphics determined whether a game is good or not? I still play Pong and would tell anyone its a fantastic game and it barely even has graphics. Not sure what to think about this whole "Other M" thing. Sounds kind of dumb but I'll wait to play the game and find out what it means before I really judge it. Bottom line the game looks great.
@Maluk I do think the game will be good, and I'm hoping it will be awesome. But the graphics, at least at this point, are turning me off. I mean look at Super Mario Galaxy, those graphics are mind-blowing. I just have this sinking feeling Team Ninja will not make this game as good as it can be.
