I find it disturbing that the group who began the anti-GTA campaign were able to get 46,000 signatures so easily by merely misrepresenting one of the most widely known game series in the world. If you read the description they gave of the GTA5 it's hard to believe they're actually talking about the same game. It seems like the work of a highly-organised, militant, special-interest group using an anti-gaming platform to push their agenda.

I was part of that 40k petition ban, im a pc gamer, rockstar you know the reason.

We all need to sign this. It will not end in AU. They are already reaching out to other countries to have the game removed from the shelves.

They take them off the shelves meanwhile they sell movies with just as bad content. Makes no sense...

I watched my friend play RE1. never got into it but I did play the RE2 and beyond XD picking up a copy of the remake

I think it's very easy to shape public opinion with propaganda.

GTA V has a slightly negative stigma attached to it, especially with non-gamers.

Someone takes a few pictures to support their point of view and stands out in front of a store and asks a few high sounding quesitons to elicit a "yes" response

Then the person (who doesn't know any better) signs a petition, but doesn't know the facts, just like a political ballot.

GTA V isn't worth sacrificing good public relations. It sucked anyway most of the time.

It's been over a year since I played GTA V. It wasn't that great. You'll have a much better time playing something else.

You should be very happy GTA V isn't available for purchase at some stores.

Kind of a bummer about Target and Kmart but as long as its not banned in the country (as so many seem to be) and others are selling it, who cares? More business for other stores and I guess Kmart's and Target's customers have less to complain about while the stores give the impression of giving a ...hoot.

Every GTA and many other games have potential violence against women. If you're going to pick one game as an example to be removed from shelves, you should go ahead and remove every other game.

Who buys their games from target anyway? Its their loss. GTA sells.
