To my knowledge Vivendi has never run a company they invested in heavily and/or acquired into the ground. It seems like they're hands-off, pretty much just a huge investment firm looking to make money on whatever media company has favorable winds in a given year. Probably not a big deal, aside from muscling out the top brass (which isn't surprising).

Ubisoft is of course big and the big corporate stuff has it's effect on their games, but I wonder if it would be even worse under Vivendi, or basically no different.
