Graphics Comparison - Crysis 3

Whats the point of this ? grow up.

Oh dear...they have turned Crisis 3 into Call of Duty.

It is so obvious that the modern computer's graphics can not even be compared to console graphics, it's not even different world's but different universes! plus keep in mind that this video not showing the full strength of Ultra PC setting with V-sync.

Besides this,who cares aboutgraphics.I'm interested alot more in a good storyand plot which this gamedoes not provide sufficiently.

Dear Gamespot,

Please can you upload these graphic comparisons in 1080p otherwise we can't really get the benefit of how awesome/dire the various machines display the game. Some of the finer detail is lost because 720p just isn't good enough quality to show noticeable differences.

And to finish I would just like to add that i think you lot do a pretty good job keep up the good work .

The year is 2045, or something and Crytek gave Prophet a f**king bow and arrow? These devs seem to think bolts fly like bullets. these are my eyes rolling!

Anyone knows that PC will always be better in graphic because of the hardwares (depends if console port they did something about the graphics) and between the PS3 and XBOX 360 thats another story. Some games look better on PS3 and some others on XBOX 360, but I got the game on PC and godamn, graphics are amazing. Tried the Demo on the PS3 and the graphics was not that bad too. I dont know about the XBOX. But really, graphics matters more than a good gameplay and story line, Its been a while I'm not looking into graphics anymore, who's the best and on witch console, etc. If the story and the gameplay are perfect, thats ok with with me =)

They left the "vertical sync" option off for the PC too, so that the PC sequences would needlessly appear to suffer from the same "tearing" effects seen on the consoles! :(

If you want a real comparison, use mods for the PC. Comparing stock Skyrim across all three only shows a minor improvement on the PC. But when you use free mods/texture packs, it's a night and day difference. Same holds true for Crysis 1 and 2.

Why even compare to pc? Are there people out there that actually think the consoles will look and perform as well?

Wow 360 looks horrible here. I guess that's what it will look like when a game isn't using Unreal. Seems like all the graphics comperisons for games that use Unreal tend to look better on PC then 360 followed by PS3. Interesting.

Video is not 1080p, PC version is only on high.

and crysis 3 was not optimized for pc like Capcom optimize they games for pc, see How big difference is between versions? PC,PS3,Xbox on this game.

Well we all know that Pc will always beat down consoles in the graphics department.

I'm usually not one to bash Gamespot for their choices but this 'comparison' is atrocious. You're not utilizing the full power of a PC whereas you are using all the consoles have to offer.

Regardless of your actual intentions, this attempt at a comparison is biased towards console gaming.

Terrible comparison. There's no way in hell anyone can think the consoles come close to the PC version on Ultra. You need at least TWO high-end graphics cards (Nvidia 680's or AMD RADEON HD 7970s) and a high end quad-core CPU for that setting. GameSpot isn't showing the game on Ultra to make the console version look better or the PC version not so much better in comparison.

This comparison is like a Ferrari, Fiat and Renault race but Ferrari have to race with half speed even so Ferrari wins.

PC version will always look the best, no doubt about it. The PC isn't being pushed as technically the consoles are inferior. If the game was a PC exclusive then you would see what the PC is capable of. This game is made for consoles in mind. I think it is a shame Nintendo didn't push their hardware more for the WiiU, as then Sony and Microsoft don't need to push hardware further which in turn makes the PC tech seem further away. PC owners want the console tech closer to PC tech, a forefront to gaming.

Horrible comparison again, no 1080p, no frame rate comparison, No PC on Ultra either, just as bad as Witcher 2's comparrision

as someone who has the game on PC running at full settings let explain what the difference between PC and console for this game. If you wear glasses take them off. That is the console version. Now put them back on. That is the PC version. That is the difference. blurry vision vs 20/20. Best way I can describe it.

Ajust brighteness and contrast and they're all equal, at least for this comparison...
