I hope this isn't the only type of chopper there is in the game. I really love flying helicopters and would be ill surprised if there is only one type to fly. Also, does anyone know if all the characters will be able to pilot? I mean, as we can see in the trailer they all have skill-sets, many of which(if not all), the same, but differently developed. Trevor is best at piloting, Franklin at driving and Michael with shooting. So by that logic they should all be capable of flying, but at a different quality level. The same should be with driving and shooting. Any thoughts, gentlemen?
@uvanguliashki @44banger Some of the helicopters were Buzzards remember the armed helicopter from TBOGT. There was also helicopters that look like Squirrels and in the beginning there was a Maverick.
@4:24 you clearly see xbox button prompts. I think you can see PS3 button prompts when Franklin is sniping after Michael rappels into the building. There is an R2 button. R2 would be the lower right bumper on the PS2 controller, I think on PS3 it is more like a trigger (don't have a PS3 so not sure). If it were the 360, it would be labelled RT (Right Trigger). So while the 360 controller can be used to play games on windows, the PS3 controller cannot. So at least some of this footage comes from a console, if not all of it. the scene I mention looks lower res. It is dark and dingy and could easily be 360 footage.
After seeing this I am re-energized about current gen. I honestly don't think next gen is going to be about graphics. Which is why I think Nintendo may have made the right choice with their hardware. Now if only they could back it up with some good software. :( I plan on owning a ps4/wii u/gaming pc this coming gen. I dunno about the xbox one RIGHT NOW, however that tv integration could be too amazing to pass up. We shall see.
@Pilgrim117 I don't know what people are talking about when they say that gta 4 was garbage. In my opinion it was the best in the series so far. The driving mechanics feel like real cars instead of go carts. The shooting mechanics were better than the rest of them combined, after playing gta4 i tried vice city again and the lock on bullshit was so weak. Not to mention the story was good and it fit. An eastern european dropping off in NYC and doing gangster shit was perfect for the setting, the whole mafiaoso thing is way over played in my book.
@Pilgrim117 Loved Bioshock, but you are wrong re this, its sandbox and gives a gamer so much to do, not sticking to rails to get to the end of a set story that has a visible foregone conclusion. Rockstar are heading all the way in the right direction and setting the benchmark for interactive story gaming.
@Darek68 @Payasoplas I've been the biggest slanderer of GTA, and this trailer shows that at last GTA maybe at the height of its own hype, just maybe, if GS gives it another 10 rating perhaps this time will deserve it...
@Love2play99 I wouldn't say that, sure it's the same setting but it does have more stuff to do
Besides: If they will take inspiration, they might as well take inspiration from a good game...San Andreas was a good game and I still play it once in a while (Only GTA that I love an enjoy
@Love2play99 @kalgert123 Heretic! Well I won't judge your opinion, but still: I 'unno how can you say "No" to a game that's prettier and looks quite massive and prefer a game that's based in one city (Still big but feels really small comparing to this) that's more or less brown and gray
