Why is this show always so hard to find? It should be on the front page of GameSpot on all over Facebook and Twitter. This is one of the best shows on GameSpot and I feel like it doesn't get enough recognition.

@SomberOwl yeah this website is totally broken since the redesign. I think they spent a lot of money on it and are now screwed and can't change it. Typical know-nothing know-it-all sf web developers....
years of archives lost, killed support for all people who can't or won't use flash. search completely hosed. Favorite sections like highest rated by platform lost. and on and on.

I even lost my original comment when I had to sign it to write this! and couldn't find this page again without google. total amateurs.

At least the shows are better now though.

How could they not guess Second Son? AFAIK the only open world action games to have come out so far this year are Second Son and Dark Souls 2.

Great show. Thoughts:

Wow, I forgot all about Thief coming out this year. That is not good. There are, however, some great games that did come out, like the later mentioned Infamous.

And Far Cry 3 is so good, I bought it four times (once was for a roommate but I bought it on 360 for myself and on PS3 for him so I could borrow it and play through it fresh, and I bought it for my brother for Christmas, and then I bought it in a Steam sale after I bought a PC that could play it.) It's just too bad the game gives up the teenagers in a hostile environment horror movie motif from the beginning to become an all out action game midway through, before kind of returning to the horror movie concept at the end. Which is why I like the way Blood Dragon sticks with the 80s post-apocalyptic action movie motif the whole way through to its insane ending.

@g7o7 Agreed. And they need to make this show more consistent. What's most annoying is that Gamespot isn't very transparent. So when a show gets cancelled or goes on hiatus they don't tell us. Same happened to Tom McShea's show Quoted For Truth.

@liquidbutter yeah, the show wasn't even in the shows list anymore... I understand it might have less an audience than their numerous let's play shows, but it's certainly more interesting and would probably help having it on their schedule/front page etc...

Hey guys, I know you mainly don't take questions on here, but I had a few regarding your thoughts on Tomodachi--and figured it was worth a try.

1) Wasn't this originally not planned for western release?

2) If that's the case, what are your thoughts on building a game based on the culture you're in?

3) I think we're at a point with video games in general where the lack of inclusion is perceived as exclusion. Would you say consider that a threat to the artistic integrity of the developers (as many commenters have said), or do you think developers have a social obligation to their fans?

As a life-long gamer (straight, white, male), I'd love to continue seeing more opportunities for inclusion for everyone. I also believe in artistic integrity; however, the fact that this game is a life simulator, it seems a bit forgetful/ridiculous to exclude options for same sex relationships.

If it were a platformer, or other type of game, not meant to represent 'you', I'd be a little more understanding.
