I wish they would give us something concrete so we could at least prepare for it as of now final fantasy 14 has my complete attention but I plan on taking around a month break from all other games to focus on these two badboys the platinums will be mine I don't care if they require 100% completion in a sick way I am kind of hoping for that so only the hardcore fans will obtain the platinum

They could have done something about the hair... I'm not sure if I'll buy these now, just doesn't seem like anything more than a lazy upscale, which I kinda already played through twice on my laptop, since they announced it.

@ANUBISZER0 they know that 90% of the people buying this are doing it for 10 but I am one of the few people that loved and played out the entirety of x-2 including post game I have beaten 90% of all FF games including post game dungeons in their entirety and x-2 is easily one of the toughest games to gain full completion they make you do some pretty intense things

@psuedospike It definately had some unique ideas and an interesting plot... But I can't help but think as a sequel it kinda failed.

FF 10 was good but I think FF 12 was way better. They need to do an upgrade of that.

@mechboi there is a rumor that if this sells well a HD version of 12 is next so support this and it will be more likely to happen I know I enjoyed 10 more than 12 but 12 was still a great game I know a bunch of people never played 12 cuz it was on ps2 when ps3 was around

I'm still looking forward to this, but at the same time what is taking so long? This was announced years ago, and it's not like they're building the game from the ground up, it's a simple HD port.

I'm glad it's finally coming and everything, but my interest has declined considerably.

@yearssomuch I'm still kind of excited about it, but you're right about it taking quite a while to release. There doesn't even seem to be a set release date yet.

@yearssomuch They had to remake a lot of it from scratch actually, probably the engine they made it on doesn't lend to HD upgrades. You can see screenshots of what the game looks like ported straight to HD and there's a lot of guff at either side of the screen, which was originally out of shot.
