Anyway i love my console and hope we can play recore this year. But with all those delays... well i dont think we will see recore this year.

8 out of these 13 games piquing my interest isn't bad.
Glad I chose the console I chose. Now if only the PS4 could give me a reason... 2 out of their 13 games interests me, and one of those is ff15.
Which I can play on Xbox.

@Arkhalipso: Sounds like someone is a fanboy. There is literally no reason for me to purchase a PS4 at this point. Last time I did that, I ended up purchasing the games that could be played on both consoles for the 360 and only buying 3 or 4 games for the PS3... The entire time I had it.
As a company, it is Sony's job to give me a reason to buy a PS4. Not mine. Because I, for one, will not be buying something that will just sit there collecting dust until very specific games come out. Nor will I purchase things for "blind fanboy-ing" reasons.
I have bills to pay.

@lordossiss: May I ask why you bought an Xbox One, if not for fanboy reasons?

As a PS4 and PC player, I have no reason to own an Xbox One. I get called a fanboy for saying that, yet I chose the Xbox 360 over PS3 last generation. I just like games, and I go where the games are. Having a PS4, PC, and Wii U (which I also have, but forget about sometimes), I can play almost every single game that comes out, and I can play the best possible version of cross-platform games. How many Xbox One exclusives are there? ("Exclusives" meaning not on PC or 360, since I have those.)

So, again, why own an Xbox One? Halo? I don't like Halo, and even if I did, that doesn't justify the $300+ price. Just like you said previously.

@mddg_mmcc: Well, just like you, it was the games that drew me in. If Sony had the games that I wanted to play (and had more than what I'd like to play on Xbox One) I'd have fully bought a PS4.
Halo was always on my radar... Though the disappointment I felt when I tried "reliving the glory days" on multiplayer for Halo 5 were terrible...
I mean, the PS4 vs. the Xbox One was a really close contest. The fact that most of the games on my original list for both consoles were revealed to be huge disappointments... That's a different story.
I, also, try to play on the PC for games... I just have neither the time nor money (again, bills) to upgrade it. It's a small form factor, too, so I'd end up buying a whole new tower. I usually play things that don't need a lot of power. Like Stardew Valley.

My Wii U periodically collects dust between spurts of hard gaming.

Growing up, I didn't have a computer. It just wasn't an affordable thing. I relied on the NES, SNES, and Genesis (not all at the same time) for my enjoyment. Once the Genesis crapped out, the 64.

@lordossiss: You kind of answered it. I can see where you're coming from. And I'm the same with Nintendo. Mario, Zelda, and other exclusives are the only reason to buy Nintendo systems at this point, and I'm not sure anyone without Nintendo nostalgia really cares about the newer Nintendo games. So there has to be a little fanboying (?) in that purchase, whether someone buys it for themselves or their kid. As much dust as my Wii U has collected, I'll still probably end up with an NX.

@lordossiss: Why even mention it in this article though? It looks like you feel insecure about it or something. You're the kind of guy that would say that he would rather play Sea Of Thieves or Cuphead over Horizon or FF VII Remake for example. Both consoles have great games, you don't need to bash the one you don't have to feel good about having the other.

But fanboys will be fanboys, so whatever.
