Nice for the guy but I'll never get there, tonight marks the last night I touch Destiny anyway, tomorrow is SPLATOON!!! Time for my Wii U to take over again, till Batman Arkham Knight anyway...

I guess this is nice, but those of us who like to play solo have been completely frozen out of Destiny these days. I didnt even finish the new expansion, knowing that most of the best gear was locked behind horde modes and multiplayer.

As someone who played Destiny every single day for the first 4 or 5 months it was out, i feel let down by the direction the game went.

I was a Destiny fanboy and now i just feel a tinge of disappointment whenever i see the name.

Perfect example--- its a waste of time and resources to build an entire area just so the tiny few who go 9-0 can open a chest. Meanwhile the new "expansion" is just the same areas, played through again. They even recycled part of the first raid.

Le Sigh.

Nice job, Bungie.

Why add actual meaningful content to the game when you can waste time and resources on elaborate nonsense like this just to award some loot?

Too bad there's absolutely no story to this game. Is this place supposed to have some meaning to it? The world may never know.

When I payed for this DLC (the season pass) I was promised a raid (yes, I know they said that there wouldn't be one prior to this releasing but not when the content was first announced) and this just leaves a strike and 5 story missions for me and I am not happy considering what it cost me.

Like if you feel the same.

It's good that there is a reward for achieving something like this but there are a lot of players who will never see this themselves, like me, unless they watch these videos. Bungie, you have alienated even more people from your game.

This is terrible DLC for those who don't play the PvP.

On a positive note though, congratulations on the achievement of going 9-0.

Ah, Destiny. The most heavily covered 6 out of 10 since Julia Roberts's Oscar nomination.

I hope Destiny doesn't get too much hardcore content like this. No matchmaking, 3v3, only runs 3 days a week, and you HAVE to go 9 wins to 0 losses to access the location and the loot? Urgh. I tried to play Trials, but I just couldn't find a group... the lfg forums were populated by total d*cks who took the tournament waaay to seriously. Demanding lvl 34, certain types of gear, and posting recruitment messages like "You must be VERY VERY good" and "don't mess up". When they started checking out my kdr stats using tracking websites, I left. Too intimidating for me. God knows what they would have done if I'd had a bad match... probably verbally abused me over their mics before kicking me / deleting me.

In a way, I kinda resent the fact that I've *paid* for content that I can't access. Sure, I knew in advance about the Trials, but I didn't know about the conditions for accessing the new social space or winning the best gear. I understand that this is an elite mode for elite players, but Destiny could potentially alienate a large part of their player base if they introduce too much stuff like this.
