......And three and half years later this game is still a poorly developed early access Alpha. This developer used this as a cash cow who rode the hype of the mod that was popular. This is a very unethical developer.
I bought the game a couple of days ago and it is extremely difficult! NICE FOR A CHANGE! When this game goes gold I hope it will be even harder, but less buggy; it would iron out the wrinkles. My GF and I play it together, it was a battle just finding each other, and it's an ongoing battle just to stay alive. She has died about 5 times, but I have died 0 times, I do not know how I have managed that. I didn't encounter a single zombie until 6 hours into the game (the same second I found my GF in-game, I encountered 4 zombies O_o). I've played 10 hours, but my gear is still very crappy and the stuff I have is barely working.
If you like tough, buggy, crashing and laggy alpha state open world games then get DayZ! Man. I sound like I'm being paid - WHICH I'M TOTALLY NOT! *WINKWINK*
I would love to play games like that, but in those games people take things to serious. Screaming, going on psychotic rage and so on. Feels like most of them have a really bad mental state.
There aren't that many game-breaking bugs to be honest. The amount of content and features they implement on daily basis is astonishing. The best, most complete Alpha I've participated in and I've played quite a few!
