Command & Conquer Franchise Retrospective

one of the best game series ever To bad EA's with there poor quality management is running the show. If only a game studio like Activision or even Microsoft would have bought the license I'm sure the game would have turned out different.

Hello, man that was some awsome memories video :P all the 1st'ies, red alert 1&2 are the greatest, to me there is no red alert 3. red alert 3 is simply a totally different game got nothing to do with the otheres, as for the tiberium series, it still grows and grows as a fantastic strategic game and without forgetting my dear generals, generals may not look the best but gives the thrill to the bones, SO FUN

True...Red aler 3 went down hill...spec. with the exp pack.. Generals was the most success of them all I say...

C&C is going down big time WESTWOOD NEED TO COME BACK AND SAVE C&C!!! Electronic arts has been fking up C&C since they took over Westwood in 2003....

Ah cnc, one of the many franchises that made and still makes me a pc gamer for life.

Only RTS franchise I personally enjoyed played. Red Alert was awesome, I still play from time to time. Nice walk down memory Lane, some people played warcraft as first RTS, I play Command & Conquer as my first RTS so may be why I like it so much. Not comparing just listing examples, there are many (XCOM, Starcraft, Demigod, LOTRO [forget the full name] etc), its just the one I enjoyed first so had the biggest impact on me I suspect because of that.

Red Alert = best RTS soundtrack ever. It got me so pumped.

@ -Unreal- , i second that . a new renegade game was on the works , but it got cancelled . they really should renew that project

They need to make a new Renegade game. That was an excellent game in multiplayer.

Command & Conquer is my favorite strategy game - nice video.

I'm still waiting for C&C: Generals 2, hopefully one day EA will bring in on the market.

We dont remember the games because of some low res cinematics, we remember them because of the gameplay. no thats pretty much why we remember C&C because you see its those cut scenes that separated command and conquer from the competition and basically its what made it great.

If it weren't for Westwood, there would probably be no WarCraft, or World of WarCraft or Activision Blizzard for that matter.

Although I love the series, imo Red Alert and Red Alert 2 were the pinnacle. They (and the first two Age of Empires) are tied for the best RTS games I have ever played.

Big respect for the first and best strategy game ever made and hope more coming editions

I'm happy to say I've been here from the start, of course I was only 6, 7 or 8 when I played command and conquer 1. It's coincidental that this video should be posted now, directly after I started playing Command and Conquer 3 again for the first time in several months. XD

damn was hoping for a more in depth retrospective with commentary, etc. Oh well, still a cool reminder of how awesome C&C was/is.

Hell's March from Red Alert, best theme song ever!!

Tiberian Sun and Firestorm are my all time favorites. I've played them all since day one and no game since has had the same wow effect as those did. Awesome series..RIP Westwood, the true geniuses of RTS.

For a C&C retrospective this is a very short video. Plus the prod values are really on the low side.... too bad.
