Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer Preview

man I cant wait for this game I cant play online so the squads mode is great for me

I'll give credit where it's due, these improvements seem pretty legit. I especially like the focus on making kill streaks more ground based and skill based. No more calling in flying death machines to do your work for you. Also the corner lean mechanic looks pretty cool.

With that said... what about the netcode? To me (and anyone with a brain) it's imperative that these guys do two things before I even give this game a second glance.

A.) A beta and

B.)Dedicated servers

CoD has always had great controls and the ADS and perk system are probably the most influential mechanics in a FPS since duel wielding. But the one thing that has always held this game back.... LAG.

CoD is the most successful game franchise on the planet so I know these guys can afford to do a beta and set up dedicated servers. Any talk to the contrary... and I ain't tryna hear that shit. ANYONE who buys this game without the announcement of the aforementioned deserves all the rage that comes with their purchase.

Stop being sheep and buying this shitty product just because everyone else is. The only way these guys are gonna address the real issues with CoD is if the sheeple stop supporting a bad product. Speak with your wallets guys and gals. If enough people let Activision/IW know that we have had enough of the rampant lag then they'll have to do something about it. Just look at M$ and what they did with the Spybox umm... I mean Xbox.

Impressive, but still no sharks. I wanted land sharks.

It all seems very convoluted and "over the top" to me.

Nice additions but COD has lost me, there is no need to flood the market with one or multiple CODs in a year.

People hate on cod but it sells better than any other game out there. The graphics aren't battlefield level obviously as very few games ever get look as good as that but it actually looks a whole lot better than all the other cods.

I'm not too happy that they kept the support class killstreak from MW3. I always find it annoying to get hit from an stealth bomber or emp from someone who went 18/30. I hope this support class is more "fairer" or something.

cod ghosts use new engine=lie

bf4 uses new engine=lie

with bf4 you get a game built in a 2011's engine, with ghosts a 2005's engine

No air support= no buy. It pretty much is Cod:battlefield if there is no air support. Screw the dog killstreak gimme a damn pavelow.

Can't wait, but I hope they actually fix quick-scoping for real this time.. and not just get rid of it and then patch it back into the game because people complain.

Is there any information on how they are possibly bringing back something like League Play from Black Ops 2? I'd really love to see that evolve. And I don't mean the new Squads part, which also looks nice btw ;-)

Sooo... did they fix the god awful netcode yet? You can make all the improvements in the world but if the netcode isn't addressed then what's the fuckin point?

These assholes have broken all kinds of sales records yet they still don't know what dedicated servers are. As if they can't afford it at this point. But don't worry Activision, the sheeple will continue to buy your shiity products because they can't think for themselves.

im just so sick of the damn garbage ass graphics. You can barely make out the damn enemy anymore which is why i always used the enemy tracker attachment in bo2 so i dont go blind playin the damn game... which i havent played in months by the way...

mhm looks like the marksman rifle has low recoil wtf its like a deathlaser :/

after all is said and done, CoD is always fun to play !
