sega usually suffer bad port and gaming experience with this kind of games but still it looks nice... except the lip sync... i could do it better, seriously !
I'm sorry but this looks too much like ME, people need to be more creative with their games....everything is starting to look the damn same. This said the game looks interesting and looking forward to seeing how it turns out but the motion could be a bit better, it doesn't seem smooth or realistic.
sega's feel is all over the place, man i love sega's authentic colors however the motion does not seem fluid enough, it is as if the general camera motion is somewhere between 45-60 frames but the characters have 15-12 frame rates of motion. that spoils it for now. good luck dudes
They really need to work on the game's presentation. While great graphics can't save poor games, poor graphics can ruin great games. With all the AAA titles coming out this fall, this game will have a hard time being recognized at all.
I looked at these guys' track record and it seems they only made ONE game below an 8. That's pretty good, and they made KOTOR which is for many one of the best RPGs. I don't think they will disappoint with this one, and I'll be on the lookout for their new Fallout game.
Crazylefty, Sega isn't developing the game, they're just publishing it. The game is being made by Obsidian, who developed the sequels to Star Wars KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights.
it looks okay. i'm worried the controls will be bad. i'm also worried the game in general might be bad. i really cant stand sega as a game-making company
The gunplay definitely looks weird. And I hope this is a preview from early on in the game's production cause no shells ejecting from guns is pretty shallow for the next generation. Obviously this isn't a big detail but when developers dont focus on guns in a shooting game who knows what else they are leaving out...
Some of these characters seem to be suffering from an Oblivion-esque "My face seems to be stuck in one expression" syndrome. Maybe that's a side quest here: find some friggin' muscle relaxant or something. Even some really strong booze will work at this point. Though it does look to contain some fun elements. Far as I can tell a modern-day Mass Effect with a solid classic espionage feel to it. So if it pans out like they've planned it: then that'll be good enough for me. Just hope they tighten up the facial expressions. It's hard to roleplay a character who looks like a he inherited all the emotion of a really passionate plank of wood.
So Templar seems to be the only person that knows what he's talking about. This is OBSIDIAN. That name carries the same kind of weight as Bioware and (from back in the day) Black Isle and Interplay. I'm glad that they're working on their own IP. This game is gonna rock.
Koruptshin, they are just producing it, not developing it. They do not have the main say in its developement. That being said, I like Obisidian, they are basically the left arm of BioWare, taking on all the projects BioWare can't do, won't do, or will not carry on (Like NWN2), and to pinz90, yes, yes it is coming out on PC, PS3, and X360.
As others have said, this game has the potential to be awesome. However, I have had my hopes dashed too many times over the years, so I will just see what it is like on release. If they get the gameplay feeling right (i.e. handling, shooting, sneaking) I will definitely consider getting it, but I really don't want to get my hopes up just yet.
It looks good, but if you are really into espionage, i highly recommend Metal Gear Solid 4, which is without exaggeration , the best stealth game ever made!!!
OMG its Metal Gate: Tales of the Recon Duty! rly?? can any game studio quit cashing in on the FPS genre? Not everyone wants to play doom. What happened to good computer role playing games, with all the stats/strategy to go with it? I dont want twitch in my RPGs, which is why i uninstalled Fallout 3, and btw, im a fanatical fallout fan, back when CRPGs were CRPGs, and not this "please the kids in the name of the almighty dollar"
