Aliens: Colonial Marines - Story Trailer

Every game should be using the new FOX engine. That 10 min trailer was amazing...MGS 5....All the way...O yea this game looks ok...

I've been a fan of the alien movies and games since I was a litte kid,and,frankly,I have a lot of hopes for this game.From what I've seen so far the grapics are not as god as they should be.We can only hope that the gameplay,the action and the storyline will make up for the mediore graphics,though I expectd more from Gearbox and any other game studio that made Alien or Aliens versus Predator games.Graphically speaking,I was only impressed by Rebellion and the Aliens versus Predator game of 2010.The graphics of a game that was releasd in 2010 are better than the one reeased in 2013.I just don't get it.I've watched all the videos that had anything to do with Aliens:colonial marines and I was happy to find out that the guys in Gearbox maing this gme are nerdy alien fans such as myself and many others.But,I have to ask,why bad graphics for such an impressive title of the alien fanchise?I think it deserved better,don't you?

The actual gameplay videos I've seen from this game left me majorly unimpressed.

Weak sound effects, predictable scripted events, bad voice acting, no freedom but linear gameplay, dumb AI, stupid cannonfodder alien enemies, ... the list goes on.

Let's hope that what I saw was 'early impressions gameplay' and not actual 'planned for release gameplay'.

This "story trailer" doesn't help to give it a more positive appearance either.

I'll be awaiting those post release reviews from trusted sources and verification if it's DRM free first.

I guess we'll be doing another round of one of us test-buying it to check if it's worth it or sale material (or totally forgettable).

Tieing into the movie is a great idea; for story and gameplay. I'm hoping the 720p video is typical of consoles, because it really kinda sucks on PC (very pixilated). BrickMcIronhand is right.....having at least some of the original cast do the voice acting is the bomb. Hope this is a WHOLE lot better than the last really tired and cliched AvP game!

Seriously Gamespot, I'm God dang SICK of the video automatically switching to another video after it's over. Please make that go away, it's a the most annoying crap ever. Love ths site...hate that auto video shit....Anyway, BISHOP!!! Can't wait for this one.

The voice acting seems a little wooden, but the return of Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen is utterly awesome and the story seems intriguing (who is the hooded captive? Hicks? Hudson?). Also, is that Col. Campbell from Metal Gear as the marine leader? Sounds like him.

Continue to follow but still unsure about this one.
